I woke up to the morning sun shining in through the balcony door, but something was weird. I was super warm, and the bed was moving under me!! I slowly adjusted my eyes and looked beneath me to see I was lying on a body. I followed the torso underneath me until it lead me to a face, Michael’s. I remembered now that he’d stayed with again me last night. I keep forgetting about him staying here with me for almost two weeks now since the incident. I’ve been having problems sleeping so he’s been sleeping (in a non-sexual way) with me. Even if I wasn’t having problems sleeping I’d probably act like I was so he’d sleep in the bed, I felt bad for him sleeping out on that stupid couch. Michael was such a gentleman, it’s just too cute, and he cracks me up. I smiled at the thought of being comforted by such a wonderful man, I couldn’t ask for a better guy. I frowned a little at the thought of him being mine, what if he is a wonderful guy and does really like me? I’m not sure I could handle that, I mean I don’t think he would ever hurt me but I’m so afraid of being put back in that position. ‘I can’t be hurt again, not this time.’ I said to myself sliding out of the bed and making my way to the bathroom. I didn’t want to wake him up yet so I would just shower and then order us some breakfast. I jumped in turning the water on full fledge hot, I was a little tense and my stomach was feeling a little weird, I couldn’t even explain it. I quickly washed my hair and body; I begin towel drying my hair and then wrapped it around me. I made my way back into the room to find some clothes, just as I found my bag and began digging around looking for a top Michael started turning around in the bed. I froze in my place hoping to god he wouldn’t see me like this…….even though he’s probably seen me already since he pulled me out of the shower a week ago. He settled back down and I found my clothes and dashed for the bathroom. I threw on my jean shorts, tank top, and some socks. I quickly applied some of my eyeliner and mascara and then just brushed through my hair; it would dry and go naturally wavy. I walked back into the other room and stopped to make sure he was still asleep, he was. I decided I would surprise him with some breakfast; I didn’t want hotel breakfast after eating that for about two weeks now I decided donuts sounded good. I grabbed my purse and slowly walked to the table and grabbed a pen and pad to leave Michael a note in case he woke up while I was gone. ‘Michael went to grab some breakfast, be back soon. Love, Saria,’ I left it on my pillow and headed out the door. I made my way down the elevator and to the donut shop about a block away from where we were staying. “Hello miss, what can we do for you today?” “Oh I would like a half a dozen assorted donuts. Just random types will be fine.” I said looking at the huge selection of donuts. The lady behind the counter smiled at me as she put together a box of donuts and sat it on the counter. I handed her a 10 dollar bill and told her to keep the change as I grabbed the box and left. I made my way back to the room and walked back in to find that Michael was still asleep. He looked so peaceful and sweet I didn’t want to wake him up but it was already 11 in the morning. I sat next to him as I poked him, “come on sleepy head it's time to get up, I got some breakfast!” I said gently. His eyes flinched as he tried to open them, “what…..,” he said sitting up stretching, “oh hey there beautiful, did you sleep well,” he said smoothly as he realized it was me. I laughed a little, “I slept wonderfully and I take it you slept pretty well yourself?” he kicked his feet off the side of the bed and made his way to where I had sat the box of donuts down, “yeah probably one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a long time.” He said picking up the box and bringing it back to me. He grabbed my hand pulling me with him, “come on let’s go enjoy this lovely breakfast out on the balcony.” We sat down and ate some donuts watching the birds and people pass by and talking. “Thank you for this, it was a thoughtful thing you did,” he said smiling at me. “Well I figured I could at least do that much since you’ve been so good to me,” I said kind of blushing. “Oh that’s so sweet, but I don’t require anything from you, I’m just glad I can do the things I do for you,” he said standing up and stretching. “I think I’m going to go get ready, I have something special for today,” he said with smile on his face and sparkles in his eyes. “Michael what is it?” “Nope, I’m not telling you! It wouldn’t be surprise then would it?” he said winking at me and heading back inside. I sat out on the balcony as he took a shower and got dressed. The past week and a half me and Michael have been going on adventures whether they were just going in a shopping mall, in crazy disguises, or him being fancy renting out places. He took me to the arch and then a steam boat ride along the Mississippi, we spent a day in the Union Station shops, and we’ve just walked around quiet, little parks. I wasn’t sure what to expect this time since he has done just about all there is to do, but it’s Michael he’ll come up with something. I walked back into the room while Michael looked up at me and finished a conversation he was having on the phone, “ummmhmmm, yeah that’s the place. Oh yeah I’m going to need those tonight too. Okay bye,” he said quickly putting down the phone. “What was that about?” I asked giving him a suspicious look. “Oh nothing you need to worry your pretty little self with,” he said trying to smooth talk his way out of it. “So you ready to commence part one of the surprise?” he said grabbing his keys, hat, and sunglasses. “Okay? You going to tell me where we’re going or what?” I said slipping on my vans and grabbing my purse. “Nope!” he said opening the door waiting for me, “ladies first,” he said as I walked past him. We got in his car and headed out of the parking lot. He drove to the outskirts of St. Louis until we reached a familiar road. I hadn’t been here since I was a little kid with my dad. He pulled into the massive Six Flags parking lot and it was completely empty, “Michael what did you do?” I said slapping him playfully on the arm. He laughed as he got out of the car and walked to my side opening the door for me, “Nothing you won’t enjoy!” he joked as I took a hold of his arm and walked to the entrance. “Welcome Mr. Jackson, we’ve shut down the entire park today for you to enjoy, if you need anything just give us a shout.” The park manager said as him and his employees lined the main sidewalk of the park. Michael and I ran around the whole park like little kids riding each ride at least 3 times. It was the funniest thing ever when I drug Michael on the Mr. Freeze ride, he looked up over our heads as the ride was in motion going around in loops then into a straight up vertical motion and then back down the same way. His eyes went wide and he looked at me as if I had just asked him to kill children, “come on! It’s perfectly safe,” I said reassuring him, “at least it should be,” I said laughing running away from him up to the ride’s ledge. He manned up and got on the ride but as soon as we hit the vertical rail, we stopped for a split second and then fell straight down, he screamed like a baby, all I could do was laugh at him the whole way down. We stopped by one of the little stores so Michael could grab an umbrella, even though he was wearing black jeans, a long sleeve shirt, his hat, and glasses his skin condition was bugging him. We walked through the little stores they have all through out the park just messing around with the toys and trinkets with in them. We had spent just about all day at the park when I looked over at Michael sitting on a big rock eating some ice cream, “Thank you Michael, I haven’t had this much fun in a long time.” “Good. I’m glad I was able to pull your inner child out for at least today.” He said standing up and walking towards me. He stuck his hand out, “you ready for the next part?” he said as he hoisted me up to my feet. “What? There’s more?” I said giving him a look. He smiled at me and started running back towards the entrance, “yup and you’re not going to figure it out either!” he yelled back at me. We thanked all of the staff for the wonderful day they had given us and then we headed back to the hotel. We walked in and there was a pizza box sitting on the coffee table accompanied by a stack of Disney movies. “Awww this day just keeps getting better!” I said hugging Michael. I slid off my shoes and jumped on the couch patting the seat next to me for him to come and join me. He laughed at me, “I’m glad you’ve enjoyed it as much as I have,” he said popping in a movie and sitting down. We spent the rest of the night watching Peter pan, Pinocchio, and The jungle book. We stuffed our faces with pizza and just had a fun movie night. It was getting real late and I was worn out from the day we had, the last thing I remember was thanking Michael for making me feel like a kid again and then curling up next to him on the couch.
