The Promise ♡

"This is totally unacceptable... That person is one of your people... How can we believe his words tomorrow morning?! You should choose one of my daughters or any of my people's daughters." Head said sternly  to Jeon...

"I cannot stay the night with a person I've never met before... I don't trust your people. What if they poison me? You promised I'd get to choose... Keep up your promise like a true head should" Jeon said, getting mad.

"Fine... Your concern is acceptable. Let's ask Mila if this is okay for her. The person who is going to be your mate tonight should be Mila's friend... if she is ok... I have no objection..." Head said and turned to Mila to signal her to say no. But even before Head finished his sentence...

"Tae is my friend! I trust he will tell me the truth tomorrow morning. I accept my groom's choice to take Tae as his mate tonight," Mila said, making everyone drop their jaws, especially the Head. That's when Ji min smirked behind Mila. Head noticed that and left the place, leaving the rest of the ceremony in the hands of his loyal men.

"Jeon shi! You can take your mate to the special camp cottage whenever you want. Everyone!!! the main ceremony ends here. The lucky person who is going to spend the night with Jeon shi has been chosen already. Have a good night!"

Head's loyal friend announced the end of the ceremony, and the seven boys, surrounded by Tae slowly  dispersed upon seeing Jeon approach Tae. Tae knew this was going to happen, but his blood chilled, and a shock traveled down his spine upon seeing Jeon approaching him with a satisfied yet teasing smirk on his lips...

"Shall we go...?" Jeon extended his hand, but Tae stood there frozen, searching for a reason to prolong the night. He was extremely shy standing among a big crowd and being called by his love to bed.

"I'm hungry... I, I haven't had my dinner yet," Tae stuttered in front of everyone.

"I had my dinner, but I'm still hungry. I mean, I couldn't eat properly. Let's ask my soldiers to bring food to our chamber!" Jeon said sensing Tae's nervousness...

"Our chamber?!" Jeon hyung?!!! Give me some time," Tae whispered to Jeon, who had now gotten close to Tae.

"I wish I could, but I don't like others looking at you when you look like this.... Now, I want to hide you inside me," Jeon whispered back.

"Hyung...!!!"

"Tae... Take my hand now. I'll take you to a beautiful place..." Jeon said. Tae bit his lip to control his emotions and took Jeon's hand.

"Wow! What a beautiful couple... I feel bad taking Jeon shi away from Tae." Mila said to Ji min

"Not under my watch!" Ji min casually uttered his words out loud...

"Huh?!"

"Looking at how beautiful you are, I'm afraid I couldn't let Jeon take you... Why didn't I see you before, Matkov?" Ji min tackled somehow, playing with Mila's curly hair near her ears.

"I don't understand what you're trying to..." Mila shyly smiled...

"You don't?! Really?? Then I'll let you know.... I'm getting jealous here. I don't want my brother to steal this beauty away from me. Tell me, Mila, do you like me or Jeon more?" Ji min asked in seductive  tone

"I don't even know Jeon that much..."

"Then tell me Mila, do you like me or the person you got betrothed to.....when you were a child?!"

"That's a tough question, Queen... But since he's not part of my life now, I think I like you more."

"You're being really careful, I see..." Ji min smirked hearing Mila's  careful  words
