The Promise ♡

"From the moment you set foot on this island, you belong to me, Tae," Jeon said as he tenderly kneading Tae's foot, his hushed voice carrying a desire to claim Tae, that echoed in the quiet room. But all Tae has is fear and uneasiness around the native Flavians which echoed in his heart..

Tae's eyes reflected his inner turmoil as he confessed, "I'm considering going back to Pak Dynasty... I don't feel at home here... I came with Ji Mini, and now that he's not here... I'm not sure why I'm still here."

"You won't leave without me. Not for a month, not for a year, not for decades, nor centuries. You are mine, in this life and the next... I wont let you go..." Jeon said determined

Tae's sigh in heavy pout , as he responded, "You are too much with your words and promises... I'm not falling for it.."

"I'll never break a promise, no matter what..." Jeon insisted, his voice unwavering.

"Thats the problem.... toyou make too many promises that you can't always keep.... " Tae sighed letting out his worries..

"I'll do whatever  it takes to keep my promises, even if it costs me my life... " Jeon firmly stated... his hands on Tae's foot getting rough and warm.. that worried Tae..

" Jeon hyung??!!! I heard you promised your life to safeguard King's life..." Tae asked, his voice tinged with anxiety  and worries

"Yes, it was my first vow... I owe him my life. He saved me from death... Don't you think I owe him mine? Despite his flaws as a king and as a man, he's the best brother I've ever had. He gave me a new lease on life.... apart from that... he is my my king, we as a soldier took a oath to protect him..." Jeon explained, his voice tinged with gratitude and duty  for his king..

Tae nodded in understanding but still he knew the difference between Jeon's promise and other soldiers oath"I understand... I feel the same for Ji Mini... I owe him my life.... But...??? Is it true that you vowed your first born?? If so?? why did you commit your firstborn to the King's service?" Tae asked his disappointment echoed in his voice.

Jeon's surprise was evident as Tae asked, "How did you find out about that?"

"Is it true then? Really? How could you?" Tae asked in shock, his voice tinged with disbelief.

"It's kind of complicated... In a crucial moment, I promised my firstborn, Jeon Junior, to be raised by the king, but only after me.... " Jeon explained, his tone humble and gentle again trying to convey his answers sincerely to make Tae understand..

"Come on, Tae... It's only after me that he can claim my son... and that too.... if I die saving my king. In the worst-case scenario, Markov, my brother, will raise my firstborn like his own. Don't view it as a negative thing... This is me securing my baby's life after me.... its totally a selfish act which going to get a good life for my son.." Jeon tried  to explain...

"That's not okay, Hyung... King is already mastering you... You are letting him master our son?! Our firstborn?!! Do I have a say in this??! Did you forget what that fortune teller lady said? You are exactly doing what she said not to..." Tae sighed, disappointment evident in his tone.

"This happened long ago, and....  Tae...??!  Wait... what? Our son? Are you pregnant?" Jeon asked, his surprise palpable.

"Yeah! I'm pregnant!! I'm virgin and  pregnant... So smart hyung! For your information...We didn't do it yet..." Tae responded sarcastically, his frustration bubbling in his words

"So...  Yeahhhh!!! you're referring to our future son? Wow! Yet!!! That means we are doing it tonight..." Jeon said his tone laced with anticipation and desire
