Jungkook, the son of a renowned archaeologist, chose to embark on an adventurous journey to Russia. Since learning about the lost Korean princess in Russia, he dedicated his life to researching her story.
Upon completing his studies, he conducted a...
The following morning, As they made their way to the said heritage site of Park's, Milina was driving with her husband in their SUV, leading the way.
Yoongi followed closely behind in their car, with Jimin in the passenger seat and Jungkook lying in the backseat. The path they traveled was beautiful yet it was a bumpy ride.
They rode through an ancient arch that led them into a snow-covered road. The tire marks on the snow were the only signs of recent passage, guiding them through a barren land that soon gave way to dense woods.
The landscape was serene, with the heavy snowfall muffling the sound of the tires crunching over the frozen ground. As they drove deeper into the woods, the scenery shifted from open, snow-covered plains to towering trees.
Jungkook, who had been feeling unwell since the morning, began to complain about feeling unusually warm. Despite the freezing temperatures outside, he was burning up with a fever.
Yoongi glanced worriedly in the rearview mirror, watching as Jungkook started to peel off his layers of warm clothes.
"Jimin, keep an eye on him. His fever might be causing these hot flashes," Yoongi said, his voice tinged with concern.
"Kookie, are you okay?" Jimin asked, turning to look at him. Jungkook was already down to his linen shirt and ripped jeans, despite the cold.
"I'm burning up, Jimin. It's so hot in here," Jungkook replied, his voice weak and shaky.
Jimin, noticing how similar Jungkook's actions were to his own earlier feelings of warmth, grew increasingly worried. He, too, had felt unexpectedly warm despite the cold, but he had brushed it off.
"Yoongi hyung!! this isn't normal. He shouldn't be feeling this hot, especially not in this weather," Jimin said, a note of panic creeping into his voice.
"I know," Yoongi replied, gripping the steering wheel tighter. "We're almost there. Hang in there, Jungkook... I'll try to make tent arrangementssoon ,so you can rest... "
When they finally reached the site, an old shrine situated in the midst of the woods, Yoongi quickly parked the car. The shrine, though ancient and weathered, exuded a positive, almost calming vibe. However, Yoongi couldn't afford to be distracted by its charm.
"Jimin, stay with Jungkook. Keep him warm and hydrated. I'll check the shrine with Milina, and see how quick I can make tent " Yoongi instructed, his worry for Jungkook overriding his curiosity about the site.
Jimin nodded, already focused on making Jungkook comfortable. "Don't worry, I'll take care of him."
Yoongi joined Milina and her husband, who were waiting near the entrance of the shrine. They began a quick inspection, but Yoongi's mind was half-focused on Jungkook. The shrine was impressive, with intricate carvings and a serene atmosphere, but Yoongi couldn't fully appreciate it given his concern for Jungkook's health.
