You woke up in a state of terror, shaking and trembling. With a pair of hand on each side of you holding you from falling of the bed,

"(Y/N)?"

Your eyesight adjusted slightly and you saw someone in front of you, with a worried look on his face Pietro tried to get your attention.

"Pi-Pietro?" You stuttered,

Clinging onto his arms tightly, needing reassurance from someone right now. You rested your head on the crook of Pietro's neck as he rubbed your back and gently rocked you back and forth trying to comfort you.

"Shh love." Moving strands of hair that fell onto your face "I'm here, it's okay." Pietro whispered in your ear.

Tracing circles on your back running his fingers through your hair, "It happened again." Lying in his arms.

"Maybe you should talk to someone, if you want to. Or maybe If you aren't comfortable speaking to a doctor speak to Sam, he's good, he helped Wanda and I when we returned from Sokovia."

Rambling on with words, you loved how he rambled on sometimes but you knew this was his way of helping you when you had nightmares.

"I'll t-talk to Sam tomorrow." He nodded his head in agreement and laid you down on the bed with his lying next to you.

There was nothing more reassuring than having Pietro next to you in times like this, just the two of you cuddling and being with each other was enough to comfort you. As long as he was okay, you'd be okay.

"I love you." Pietro cooed in your ear.

You snuggled into his chest and he wrapped his arms around your neck, you reached your head up a little

"I love you more."

"Oh I don't think that's possible." Giving you a deep kiss.

"It is very possible." You said smiling into the kiss, snuggling into his chest again.
