The scene panned down to the seven Sages. They stood in a strange, ethereal-looking building. The Zora sage stepped forward and said, "King Rauru, we just received word that the last free village in the Gerudo Desert has fallen. At this rate, the Demon King's army will overwhelm us."
Rauru sighed, "I understand. Our only hope is for me to defeat the Demon King."
Mineru looked at her younger brother with concern. "Rauru, the Demon King is not someone you can stop by yourself."
"Mineru, please..."
"You are not alone. You have the Gerudo, Goron, Zora, Rito, as well as Zelda. And of course, you can count on me."
He looked across everyone in his presence. "I understand your desire, and I'm glad for the determination. I just wish there could be some other way to go about this. But no matter... All of you come with me. There is something that I want to show you all."
The king turned to the big doors behind himself and activated the green magic with his right hand. The doors began to rumble open, revealing a room with a dried fountain surrounded by four sacred stones.
The Goron Sage was in awe. "Zonai sacred stones?"
Rauru turned to the Sages and ordered, "Stand with me. I'll need all your aid."
Everyone entered the room. The four Sages gathered around each stone that called to them, and they reached their hands up. Mineru and Zelda watched from the side as the Sages touched their respective stones. The Zora Sage's stone turned blue, the Rito's green, the Goron's red, and the Gerudo's orange. The stones all positioned themselves in the same place where they now resided on the modern Sages; the Zora's glove, the Rito's anklet, the Goron's belt, and the Gerudo's earring.
Mineru and Zelda stepped onto their respective spots around the dried fountain, and Rauru followed. All of them, expect Rauru, spoke in unison, "We all, gathered here, swear on our lives, to serve Rauru, the King of Light."
Your father stared down at the empty puddle. His shoulders were tense as his mind flashed back to each modern Sage receiving their stone. If they all received their stone, then where was Mineru's? Where was Zelda's? Were their stones taken and corrupted too? Would he be eternally unprepared to face his most fearsome foe yet?
You touched your father's shoulder. "Dad, there's two more geoglyphs left. Let's see what the one by Lake Hylia has to say."

The scene started out in an unfamiliar room. Hylian soldiers paced and others sharpened their weapons. The shot widened to reveal that it was a cemetery building. Rauru stood in front of his wife's grave and placed down a sundelion. A tear fell down his cheek. "Sonia..." he muttered. Footsteps sounded behind him, and he looked to see the Sage of Time. "Oh, Zelda. I'm sorry that you have to see me like this."
"It is no problem, Rauru. I understand your grief," Zelda reassured. "Tomorrow brings a lot of uncertainty. It is why I have come to you. There is something that I must tell you before you face against the Demon King tomorrow."
"I am listening."
"I came to this era after finding a horrifying man underground. When I witnessed what the sacred stone did to Ganondorf... At that moment I knew for sure. What Link and I found underground—that was him! He was still alive, still powerful—even to my time. In tomorrow's battle, we will not be able to defeat him. No matter how strong we think we are, he will still survive! And you..." Zelda stared at the stone on his hand, tears welling up in her eyes. "You will die..."
