Epilogue

Selene and Loki's wedding took place on Sakaar, mainly because Zeus and Odin where arguing on who would host it. So the couple had to improvise.

The ceremony was magical. Loki looked absolutely dreamy in his shiny golden suit. He didn't take his eyes off Selene for a second. His vows absolutely destroyed her and she cried more than she would like to admit. He did too which caused her to cry more. Thankfully, he helped her retouch her make up afterwards.

Many guests attended, and Selene got more compliments that day than she have received all her life. Of course, most of them were from Loki himself. Her stunning white and golden jeweled gown matched his suit perfectly.

After the ceremony, the two of them got some time in private to relax. During that time Loki didn't hesitate to spread Selene's legs and give her the best head she had ever received so far, before helping her change into her second gown for the day.

There was a big celebration on Sakaar that same day. The Grandmaster really outdid himself. Then the following day the celebrations continued on Asgard, and two days later on Omnipotence City. So no god was mad for not being able to attend or host.

Unfortunately, Odin developed some health problems during the days that followed. Frigga finally convinced him to step down for his own good. During that time, Selene and Loki weren't able to decide where to settle. But with Loki now on the throne, they couldn't stay anywhere else.

Neither of them were complaining though. Loki took the throne in a time he didn't expect and while being sure that he didn't need it to be happy. And Selene wasn't at all mad about it. She always talked about how beautiful Asgard is, and it does not bring her horrible flashbacks from her traumatic past like being at her home does.

They have a peaceful life there. Loki is king. Selene's job is basically to look pretty and occasionally work on tablescapes for the ceremonies that are being hosted in the palace. Until the babies came...

Some years after their wedding, Selene and Loki welcomed their two babies. A baby boy and a baby girl. Everyone said how beautiful and adorable they were. They were so different from each other, but looked alike at the same time.

Princess Ava was born a few minutes before her brother. She looked like her mother's copy from the start, with her father's piercing blue eyes. She likes playing out in the gardens and watch her favorite flowers grow. She notices the stars and has come up with her own names for the constellations because she can never remember the real ones. And besides her interest in space, she also inherited her father's love for reading. The two of them spend ours in the library together.

Prince Ezra was born second. At first, everyone believed he looked like his mother, but as he grows older he starts looking more like his father. He has his father's onyx hair and also piercings blue eyes. He likes drawing and spends plenty of time in the gardens drawing flowers with his sister. He is more outgoing than her, and it is not unusual for him to be out for trouble. Selene always blames Loki for that gene. But deep down she loves it.

She loves everything about her own little family. It is her favorite when she walks in their bedroom and finds Loki, Ava and Ezra on her bed playing or reading stories. Even when Loki clearly doesn't have everything under control and pretends he does, it is adorable. Sometimes she wishes the two could stay babies forever.

Selene does most of the taking care of the kids. But she loves it too much to complain. She says that they are the best things that she has ever created. To Loki's amusement, she is able juggle the twins all day and then still be cheerful for a dinner time. She feels the best she has ever felt; loved, honored, cherished, accomplished. She is happy with her life.

Loki is usually busy as king and is doing his best to be there for his family as well. He beats himself up if he stays away from his family for more than a few hours. Sometimes he feels like he is not enough for them, which is not true. Whenever his family needs him, he drops everything and gets to them. There have been instances when Selene felt exhausted or frustrated with the twins and Loki cancelled entire missions to help them. Everyone knows that he is doing his best and they love him for that. He is slowly starting to believe that.

They couldn't have done it without each other. And the two of them give their babies everything they didn't receive as kids; all the love, affection, attention, encouragement, and most of all equality -they get jealous over that sometimes. They know they always have someone to relay on.

Thor loves those little troublemakers. In true uncle fashion, he usually encourages them to act up. Frigga adores her grandbabies and Odin has proven himself a better grandfather than father. They are always willing to take over and babysit so Selene and Loki can have a break, either for a moment or a day trip.

So when the kids are not in the middle, Loki and Selene cherish every moment they have alone. There are times that they can't believe that this is real. They got here together. They are more in love and happy than they have ever been. And it only gets better from there.

The war is over and everything is working out like it is supposed to. Because life finds a way...
