I still laugh at myself when I think of what Loki tried to do the other night. This guy can't be serious.
I have to admit that he had me there for a second when he slammed my back into the wall and stood really close to me. His icy blue eyes and dimples had me melting for him. He made me wonder if the rumors about the youngest Asgardian Prince getting around are true.
Of course, I could have given in and then simply kick him out but I wasn't going to risk this one. I won't offer him blackmail material.
Me, on the other hand, I keep my client list and phonecalls as blackmail material against my customers, in order to keep them from snitching on us. I have multiple copies all those receipts in various hard drives.
While checking one of them today, my assistant opens the door and walks in my home office.
"Ms. Luna, there is someone here for you" she says
"Who is it?" I ask
"Director Nick Fury" she answers.
I stop what I'm doing.
"Bring him in" I say eventually.
She leaves and Fury comes in. The door closes and I close my laptop.
"I told you I would appreciate if you showed up after booking an appointment" I remind him
"And I told you that I'll stay away from you if you stay away from trouble" he replies
"What do you mean?".
He hands me his tablet and shows me a few pictures from some random surveillance camera. In every picture, you can clearly make out Loki's figure.
"Have you seen this man?" he asks pointing at the screen
"No. Who's that?" I lie.
"Trouble. That's Loki. Loki Odinson. Or Loki Laufeyson" he explains
"I have never seen that prick" I tease
"Then how do you know he's an prick?" he asks
"Lucky guess" I give him the tablet back.
"I don't appreciate lies, Luna. I've been nice with you despite the obvious threat you present to this world. So this will be your last warning. If I find proof that you have seen him, let alone talked to him, I'm bringing Agents with me next time I come here" he warns me
"Just Agents? Not even your bestie Natasha?" I wonder offended.
"This is not a game"
"Exactly, so stop threatening me like I can't overpower you. Now, if you'd excuse me, I have to go back to work" I open my laptop again.
"Goodbye for now, Luna"
"Always a pleasure, Nick".
He walks out and shuts the door. I roll my eyes and let out a long breath.
Loki is already threatening the life I have built here for myself. He needs to be neutralized as soon as possible.

Luckily for me, I didn't even have to look for him. He came to me by himself. Once again, he was waiting for me at my house.
It's official, he's obsessed with me.
"Missed me already? Are you here to offer yourself to me like a prostitute in exchange for information again?" I ask as I walk in
"You're not funny" he replies
