Finally arriving at the cabin they eyed the surrounding area. Liam pulled out his phone to call Mason, relieved when he answered. "Liam! He's on the other side of the house," Mason said.

The panic was clear in his voice, "stay inside! We're here," Liam said before hanging up. Theo exited the truck, as did Liam before they walked towards the home. With no sign of an axe holding psychopath Theo knocked.

"Mountain ash..." Liam said looking down at the entrance. Theo brushed it apart with his shoe allowing Liam past the outline. He placed it back once they were inside, Corey opened the door for them.

"Come in," Corey said ushering for them to walk inside.

Liam and Theo quickly hurried in, "what happened?" Liam asked, his brows raised.

"We were playing chess and Mason noticed the person standing at the window!" Corey exclaimed.

Theo frowned, "that's creepy-" he said looking around "where is it now?" He added.

"The chess?" Mason replied making Theo fight the urge to slap him.

"No, the axe holding maniac," Theo snarled.

"Oh! Right, this way!" Mason said ushering for them to follow him up the stairs of the cabin. "There!" Mason said pointing out the window of their room, the figure standing a good distance away.

Axe in hand while waving with the other, the figure was basically taunting them. "That's not weird at all," Liam said, giving Theo a side glance of concern.

Theo nodded, "it's definitely not normal," he snorted.

"We could try and talk to it?" Liam suggested.

"Are you insane?" Corey asked with widened eyes, instead of reply Liam walked back down the stairs. Taking the initiative to open the door he was stopped by the mountain ash.

The figure walked towards him, "what do you want?" Liam called out. Only for it to not stop, it continued walking straight. Liam gulped; his eyes fixated on the axe he was dragging behind him.

"Who are you?" Liam asked, the figure kept its head down. It's taller height and somewhat masculine body was all Liam could make out. Maybe dark hair? He could see a small strand falling forward on its unknown face.

"Liam get back inside," Theo snapped, grabbing the beta by the arm and dragging him in.

Liam eyed him, "we need to know what it wants! What if it isn't supernatural and it comes in here! Then what?" Liam hissed.

"Then we'll fight it," Theo snapped back, Liam looked down. Feeling his anger and agitation rise to the surface. "Liam, come on" Theo said taking Liam's hand and leading him to the kitchen.

"What?" Liam snapped. The anger in his voice was clear, but it didn't scare Theo.

"Calm down little wolf," Theo said in a soft voice, Liam wanted to bite back. Half of his mind was screaming and he wanted it to shut up.

The other half was begging him to let go, calm down and take a breath. "What's your mantra?" Theo asked, his hand on Liam's arm. Liam growled before looking away and sighing.

"The sun," he said taking a deep breath in, "the moon," he released his breath, "the truth..." he felt his body relax. He didn't even realise he had been gripping Theo's arm until he felt himself let go.

"I'm sorry did that hurt?" Liam asked noticing the grip marks he left on Theo.

"I'll heal" Theo smiled.
