With quiet steps and a gentle touch Theo twisted the door handle and pushes the door open. Liam's parents were still not home which made this a lot easier, he looked towards the stairs and prayed they didn't creek.

He didn't want Liam to know yet, not until he was absolutely sure his theory was correct. It was... Slowly creeping up the stairs he did his best to keep his breathing quiet and his heartbeat steady.

Twisting the handle, he pushed Liam's bedroom door open, his heart dropping when he saw Liam sitting in his chair. The beta flicked the light on and an unamused expression plastered upon his face as he looked the chimera up and down.

"You going to explain where you were? This isn't the first time you've snuck off," Liam said crossing his arms.

Theo sighed, "I was going for a run," he said with slumped shoulders.

"Do you really expect me to believe that?" he asked "I can be oblivious, but I'm not stupid."

"I know, I'm not calling you stupid," Theo said taking a step forward.

Liam scoffed, "tell me the truth Theo. I knew you were sketchy before and I can tell you're being sketchy now," Liam said, watching as Theo let out a shaky breath.

"I was seeing someone..." Theo explained, his eyes locked on his hands as he was unable to meet Liam's gaze.

"Seeing someone? Like what?" Liam asked, immediately thinking the worse.

"Not like that," Theo said easing some of his worries.

"Why were you hiding it from me...?" Liam asked confused.

Theo looked away. "I was seeing Scott," he said softly.

Liam stood up, "I don't need his help, why would you do that?" Liam asked almost offended.

Theo stood up "Not for that... I know you can take care of things Li," he said.

Liam furrowed his brows, even more confused, "why did you need to see Scott, twice?" Liam asked.

Theo braced himself, "I asked him about Isaac," he admitted noticing the way Liam's face dropped.

"Why...?" Liam asked.

"You wanted to know if he was okay... you said that Scott didn't tell you much about him. I wanted to do some extra digging," Theo said.

Liam frowned, "that was not your place to do that! You went behind my back about it Theo." Liam said.

"But I did it for you..." Theo said in a softer tone, Liam shook his head.

"I-I don't know what to say to you right now Theo... My brothers come with baggage, I don't have time for that right now. Scott's Isaac isn't my Isaac, Scott would have told me," Liam expressed.

"Scott lied to you Liam," Theo said dropping the bomb, Liam felt his stomach drop.

Scott wouldn't lie to him... not again. Right? No, he wouldn't. "You're lying..." Liam said hesitantly.

"Why would I lie?" Theo asked confused.

"Why would Scott lie?"

"If you just let me explain, I can tell you everything..." Theo said but Liam began to feel overwhelmed, his senses tingling as his new found alpha strength mixed with his ied. His control was slipping a lot quicker than usual.

"Please leave" Liam said.

Theo shook his head, waling closer "Leave!" Liam roared, his claws digging into his hands as his eyes glowing a furious red that matched his anger.
