The younger nodded.

"I'm fine." He muttered. His voice caught a little bit.
"Talk to me Shira."

Shirabu clenched his jaw and shut his eyes tightly, trying not to cry. Semi noticed.

"Are your thoughts too loud right now?"
He nodded.
"Do you want a hug?"
Another nod.

Semi pulled him into a hug and squeezed, trying to ground him.
"Is it your dad again?"

"Yeah... he keeps asking when I'm gonna get a girlfriend... I can't tell him... it isn't safe..."
"I know... you're always welcome here. And it doesn't matter what he says. You're perfect. I promise."

"But it's not just him... it's my own thoughts that are the worst..."
