I thought there was something

Robby's just left and It's now lunch. I can't wait to tell Demetri, I've finally got my first boyfriend. The boys are already there when I push my way through the cafeteria. I can't take the smile of my face as I walk up to them.

The boys all look at me and smile. "Robby just asked me out."

All the boys jump with excitement. Except Eli. "Well what did you say?" He asks now no emotion showing on his face.

"I obviously said yes." I roll my eyes at him.

"Can I talk to you for a minute Y/n?" He says but it's more of a command because he's grabbed my hand and is pulling me gently but unwillingly out the cafeteria.

Once we're outside he carries on pulling me until we get to the computer rooms that are almost always empty. When we get inside I rip my hand out of his.

"What?" I ask him, moving back so I can lean against the wall. It's only dimly lit as we didn't turn the lights on. But the light through the door shines on us.

"I thought there was something between us." He says plainly. His honesty has thrown me off.

"Well you thought wrong then." I shrug.

He moves closer to me. "We both know that's bullshit princess." I don't move. He's got no strength over me. Yet I say nothing?

He's so close to me now, one hand by the side of my head blocking me in on one side. The other side of me is open so that if I object I can go. He's challenging me. "I don't know if you've got more Mohawk then brains but you have a girlfriend."

"Not anymore."

"You broke up with Moon?" Our faces our inches from each other. He puts his hand that has no use on my chin lifting it to his height.

"Yes." He breathes.

"Oh" Is all I can say.

"Oh" He repeats and he chuckles lightly. His eyes are staring into mine and I don't know how long I can stay strong.

I decide to be in charge of this situation. I go to make it look like I'm going to kiss him and then he leans in too. But just before our lips touch, I move out the way and laugh at him.

He groans. "Your such a tease."

"I'm a tease that is taken." I remind him and walk out the computer room. Leaving him alone in the dark.

I sit back down in the cafeteria and Eli decides to join again a couple minutes later. Nobody asked what we talked about, but we resumed lunch as if nothing happened. Eli continuously tries to meet my eye but I avoid him and focus on the other boys instead.

"So when's your date with Robby?" Eli chuckles. I look over at him and Demetri knows. He knows how I used to feel about Eli and he's trying to warn him, tell him to shut up. But he's not listening. "Where's he taking you anyway?"

"We're going out tonight, he's picking me up from Cobra Kai. I don't know where he's taking me." I say keeping eye contact with him the entire time. He's looking at me with something I don't understand. It almost seems to be anger.

"Don't you guys think you should wait a bit before coming back to Cobra Kai?" Miguel asks concerned. 

Kenny clears his throat and we both look away. "What's Cobra Kai?" He asks.

I shake my head a little at the others. I don't want his young mind to be taken over by Cobra Kai. "Miggy we'll be fine. Sorry Ken, Cobra Kai is just a little place we go everyday. But we had to wait to join because you have to be 16."

"What are you talking about-" Eli starts but I kick him in the shins and he grunts loudly. "What I meant to say was 'What are you going to do about our History assessment that's due tomorrow."

I roll my eyes but not really. I don't want Kenny to see. "I'll copy yours." I smile at him.
