chapter 6

Taehyung got back home feeling relieved and safe from all the discomfort and stress that situation gave him when in truth, his omega was happy to spend time with his alpha.

When Taehyung finished organizing his groceries in their places he got a call from Jimin.

"Hey Jiminie, what's up?" Taehyung said while he went to sit on the sofa.

He looked at the clock and it was already 14:07.

'Time has flew by pretty fast' he thought to himself.

"I called to ask if everything was ok when you went to buy groceries, just thought to call and check if you're ok before I go to yoongi, I was called off to work when I was on my way to him." Taehyung was lost in thoughts whether to tell him what happened since he wasn't hurt and didn't want to worry him for nothing.

Jimin who took the silence as something happened said "I'm coming over." that woke Taehyung up from his thoughts.

"huh? there's no need to I'm not hurt and what about your mate? you said you're going to him because you bailed on him this morning, won't he be mad?" Taehyung WAS worried but he also didn't want Jimin to come because he knew that he would know that something happened.

"Forget about that, friends first, besides I'm sure yoongi will understand and wait for me. I gotta check that you're really ok before I'm going to him."

Taehyung didn't bother to fight any longer since he knew that when Jimin decides something, he'll do it.

"Are you sure that he won't be mad at you?" Taehyung asked unsure.

"Even if he'll be mad I know a way to calm down, I just have to use my puppy eyes and the job is done." Jimin said while laughing a little bit.

"fine, but I'm really not hurt." Taehyung tried one last time to change his mind.

"I'll see you later then, I'll call yoonie to let him know."

"Ok, be careful on your way here." Taehyung said.

"Yeah I will, bye!" Jimin said and hung up.

Ever since that incident, Taehyung has closed up on himself, not telling when he's stressed or in discomfort, not as joyful as he was before, he really changed.

The only one he's still the same as before is his bestfriend Jimin, he can't say no to Jimin, he can't keep his smile hidden or show he's troubled around Jimin.

He's feeling relaxed and safe around Jimin, he was always with him, being himself that now it's hard for him to change around him.

After about an hour and a half Taehyung was wondering where Jimin was, his house wasn't that far from where he works and was about to call and check if everything was alright when suddenly he heard a knock.

Taehyung was surprised and happy to see the person following Jimin inside the house.

"Jin hyung!! you're back??" Taehyung hugged Jin tightly.

He didn't expect to see his other childhood friend so suddenly.

"You're finally back! I missed you!" Taehyung was happy, still hugging him.

"I'm on my break, I have two more years to study." Jin said laughing, hugging Taehyung tighter.

"At least I got to see you." Taehyung let go of the hug, hands still around his waist loosely and looked at him with a happy smile.

"I also missed you Tae bear, It's good to see you, is it a white hair I see?" Jin joked and Taehyung just laughed along.

"I came because I was worried about how you were doing after that incident, I needed to check up on you as soon as possible and see for my eyes that you were ok." Taehyung was touched at the affection he got from his childhood friend and he couldn't stop himself from hugging him again while saying "thank you for worrying, I'm doing better."

"That's great to hear." Taehyung only now realized there's a foreign smell on him when Jimin instructed a male figure he didn't know of into his house.

Taehyung went a step back, he immediately realized it's an alpha by the scent.
