Chapter 22

Taehyung and Jungkook were having sleepovers over the week and of course Taehyung wouldn't abandon his best friend so he spent a lot of time with him and had a sleepover at his place a few times, both catching up on everything.

Right now Taehyung was resting his head on Jungkook's lap, he loves to do it and he does it a lot when he comes over to Jungkook's.

"Kookie, I want to tell you something." Taehyung nervously said.

"What is it babe?" Taehyung couldn't get used to these nicknames he calls him.

"I want to tell you about my parents, I think you deserve to know and I want to share it with you." Taehyung indeed thought about it countless times even when they weren't dating.

He thought that Jungkook deserve to know and he won't judge him and listen to him, he knew yet he never really found the right time and something held him back for a reason he doesn't know.

Maybe it was his insecure side that was telling him not to tell him about it, no one had ever made fun of it, the little people that knew but he hated when they were pitying him so maybe Taehyung didn't want Jungkook to pity him so he didn't say a word.

"Are you sure you ready to talk about it? I know it's a sensitive subject for you." Jungkook was happy Taehyung decided to share it with him but he didn't want him to feel forced to do it just because they're dating now.

"Yeah, I thought about it a lot and I trust you.

Besides, I can't hide for forever." Taehyung chuckled and Jungkook was addicted to this sound.

"Ok then, I'm listening." With that Taehyung got up to sit next to Jungkook and held his hand, Jungkook's touch has always calmed him down and brought him peace and he felt like the memory won't affect him as hard everytime he remembers it or talks about it.

Of course he's gotten over it but he still cry whenever he thinks about his parents or talk about it.

Flashback

The family went on a hiking trip with their 15 tear old son.

The hiking area wasn't too tough so Taehyung could manage even some of it.

The weather was sunny yet not burning, just perfect for a hiking trip.

Taehyung was very attached to both of his parents, always laughing with them, listening to them, helping them with the house hold ever since he was a child, spending time with them.

They go for a family trip every week to spend some family time other then laughing together on the couch or watching TV, the usual stuff.

Taehyung would also help with the cooking when his mother would come back from work tired.

Taehyung only helped because the last time he cooked a meal alone, let's just say that Taehyung understood that him and the kitchen are not friends so he only helped in what he could, stuff that doesn't need the gas.

His parents worked at the same company, where they met each other and had to go on a business trip for five days.

Taehyung didn't really want to stay alone at the house, not after what happened to him with his so called boyfriend so he stayed those five days with Jimin, who was really excited and Taehyung wanted a distraction from the events as of late and Jimin was the best option.

The five days has went by fast, Taehyung smiled, sometimes Jimin succeeded in distracting the other and sometimes not so much.

The day Taehyung's parents were supposed to get back Jimin had went home, his mother had called him since she needed his help in the house and so, Taehyung was left alone in waiting for his parents.
