Chapter 12

It has been three days ever since that meeting, Taehyung was cleaning his house thoroughly since today was cleaning day.

He was honestly trying to keep himself away from his thoughts.

In the last two days he didn't know whether to expect Jungkook to send him a message because he knew he couldn't do it himself.

He was embarrassed at the feeling of expecting to get a message from someone, he's not used to this feeling or to be exact, it was a long time since he felt it and it reminded him of his past and he didn't like it one bit.

Taehyung loves cleaning so he was glad that it was today, he was sure he'll go crazy if he just kept drowning in his thoughts.

He did it slowly to pass the time and to enjoy it.

The time was now 10am, he took the broom and started to sweep the floor.

He went through every room and after he was done, he went to clean the bathroom and clean the whole house and the yard.

After he was done with all the cleaning the time was already 13:30am and he only now noticed that he was really hungry.

He was looking for something to make through the internet to see if he needs ingredients, he likes to make food from the internet, it gives him a lot of possibilities to choose from.

He found something that caught his eye, it was looking simple yet so tasty.

He looked for the ingredients as he went to his kitchen to see if he has all the needed ingredients and found that he doesn't have lean ground beef and soy sauce.

That ground beef bowl dish looked really yummy to him that he decided to just go and buy it.

He was about to call Jimin to ask him if he could come with him when he got a text from an unknown number.

'Huh? who is it?' Taehyung has asked himself as he read the text saying

Hello Taehyung ah,

It's me Jungkook.

How are you?

Taehyung's hands frozen holding the phone, he was staring at his phone with a surprised expression since he was indeed surprised.

He had forgotten it since his mind was too busy to think about it.

After he has regained his consciousness back, he decided to reply with

Hello, I'm fine.

And you?

Taehyung wasn't sure whether to send it like this since it sounded dry but he didn't know how else to reply.

He was hesitating, his finger gets close to the send button and back a few times still thinking of other possibilities to write it until he accidently sent it.

Taehyung was frozen once again but this time it was from disbelief and fear, he couldn't believe it happened to him and was afraid that Jungkook would get tired of his dryness and back off.

Before he could erase the message the other already replied.

I'm fine actually.

I've hesitated to text you these two days because I wanted to give you some space to process the meeting, just thought that you needed space.

Anyhow, what are you doing? can you talk? do you want to?

Taehyung was relieved that the other seemed quite fine.

'Wait relieved? what is there to be relieved about? if he'll be gone it'll be so good' Taehyung has thought to himself, surprised from his own thoughts.
