Chapter 9

Jimin and Taehyung were sitting in Taehyung's couch waiting for Yoongi and Jungkook, Taehyung's mate.

They both thought that it would be better to do it at Taehyung's house since he feels the most comfortable in there.

Taehyung was playing with his fingers nervously as he waited for the appointment to come.

He was scared but he knows that this is a step he has to take in order to overcome this fear and hatred that is caused by that fear.

He wants to believe that there are good alphas out there but he still doesn't want to date nor mate with them.

He just wants to see for himself that there are good alphas and so he can go out by himself without being afraid.

Jimin noticing Taehyung's nervousness, he puts his hand on his hands and says "don't worry, it'll be ok.

I'm here with you, and just remember that he's not a complete stranger, he's Yoongi's friend and I met him once.

He didn't seem harmful, on the contrary, he seemed like a good person, he was very calm and his pheromones were releasing a very friendly smell, I think you could use that to calm yourself down, they're supposed to come."

Taehyung calmed a bit down from what Jimin said but was still nervous, it won't go away until it'll end or he'll see that everything is ok and in control.

Taehyung's omega was suddenly jumping with joy informing him that his mate is close by and soon after the bell was rang.

His nervous pheromones could be smelt from afar as Jimin went to the door but before he went, he said "everything will be fine, I'm here until they're already in their car driving away.".

And soon after the door opened revealing two male alphas, one that is familiar to him and one that made his omega jump with joy when the other alpha standing beside Yoongi locked eye with him.

Taehyung was clenching his fists in his white track suit, can't break the eye contact.

While Taehyung's eyes showed fear and nervousness, The latter's eyes were gentle, happy to finally see his mate again.

He could finally break the eye contact to look at Jimin who waited for the permission of letting them in.

It took a few moments before he nodded.

He asked Jimin before that he would sit next to him who Jimin only replied with "I planned on sitting next to you."

The two males came inside, Jimin sat beside Taehyung, Yoongi was about to sit next to Jimin while Jungkook asked for permission to sit beside him.

Taehyung just sat there, nervous and afraid, wanting to back away and run away from this, getting cold feet.

He was woken up by Jimin holding his hand tightly yet gently and looked at him with a look that said "it'll be ok".

Taehyung then lightly nodded and gulped when the alpha sat next to him with a bit of space to give him his privacy and time to get used to him.

Jungkook again noticing how nervous and scared Taehyung is, released as calming pheromones as he can to make him comfortable as much as he can though he knows it won't make the nervousness and fear completely disappear.

Jungkook tries not to stare at him in fear it might scare him away though he's too excited and it's hard for him to keep it together but he knows he can't mess this up.

If he messes it up, it's over.

Jimin and Yoongi noticed that if they won't do something, it'll stay like this until the end.

"Jungkook, tell him about yourself first, let him get to know you so he'd feel comfortable to talk about him first too." Jungkook immediately looked over to the voice who called him the second his name was being said.

He was too focused in keeping it together that he didn't notice the silence between them.

"r-right" Jungkook said trying to focus.

"As you know my name is Jungkook, Jeon Jungkook.

I'm 19 years old, I work here as an art teacher assistant, I loved art since a very young age so I decided that it'll have something to do with my future.

I live here alone since my parents live in Busan and it would take me a little more than two hours to get to gokseong from Busan, so I decided to live here instead of doing this.

Is there anything else you'd like to know or ask? feel free to ask anything." Jungkook's voice was getting more natural rather than nervous as he was before.

Taehyung was slow on reacting that it took him time to ask or think about questions.

"Umm I-if I may ask how d-did you get this job? I I mean you're only 19." Taehyung said still nervous but curious about this.

Jungkook was happy he asked him a question, he looked at him and said "the teacher is a friend of my father's.

One time he came to our house and saw the paintings I drew and said that he needed an assistant and asked if I wanted to work for him as his assistant.

I thought he was kidding but I found out he was not and I immediately agreed, I thought that it would help me in the future.

I want to be an art teacher, I love art and kids so this is perfect for me." Jungkook replied with a natural smile that caught Taehyung off guard and gave him butterflies.

Taehyung just stared at him, forgetting all the nervousness and fear for a second.

They had a moment of eye contact before Taehyung got his senses back and yet again, broke the eye contact.

"U-umm that's p-pretty cool.

W-what do you do as an assistant?" Taehyung started to get a little bit more comfortable as the time passed, the nervousness has decreased.

"I help the kids who need help, I sometimes even teach them when Kyung Soo nim is absent, I basically help them when the teacher is busy." Taehyung started to feel a bit more relaxed as he's not clenching his hands as hard as before after seeing that he's really not harmful but still refuses to let his guard down around the alpha.

Taehyung also noticed the change in his behavior.

He used to be stubborn and excited yet now he's calm, his pheromones didn't change much.

"What about you? wanna tell me about yourself?" Jungkook hoped he didn't put Taehyung in an uncomfortable situation.

"I don't know if you remember but my name is Kim Taehyung, I'm 18 years old.

I also live here alone, I also like art but as a hobby, I'm not so good at it but I like it." Taehyung didn't know what to say anymore so he hoped that Jungkook would ask a question but he definitely didn't expect this question.

"If I may ask, are you working to pay the rent or are your parents helping you?" Jungkook noticed the change in Taehyung's calm expression to a pained expression.

I only changed the town they're living in as I regretted and wanted it to be in a small town.
