Chapter 27

Taehyung was on the way with Jungkook to the place where his parents are buried.

Jungkook wanted to meet them and Taehyung also wanted to but never brought it up, so here they are, on their way to the place near their village walking there together, hand by hand.

Taehyung always gets sad whenever he goes to their grave, it reminds him of the day he found out that they were dead.

But he's not sad the entire time like when he tells them about things that happened, even told them about Jungkook, about school, about finding university and job soon, about the dates he had with Jungkook and such.

And today, he was sad but happy too, since Jungkook would finally meet his parents but he wished that he had met them in person rather than their grave but what's done is done and sadly he can't change it.

Jungkook asked small questions about his parents, not too much as to not sadden the omega more than he is, he rubbed circles on the back of his hand in hope it'll help him even a little bit and it did.

After something like 10 minutes of walk they reached a little hill with a single big tree and underneath him was one big gravestone with two names on it.

Taehyung sat on his knees, with tears in his eyes but smiles because he doesn't want his parents to worry about him, so he always tries not to cry in front of them but there would always be tears that will betray him and fall.

Jungkook did the same and sat on the soft grass, replacing the fallen flowers with new one that he got before coming here.

"Hello mom, dad, how have you been?

I've been good and happy lately because you see, I got marked by my mate and the person I love." Taehyung said as he turned his head to the gravestone to show the mark.

Jungkook understood the sign when Taehyung looked at him with an assuring smile.

"Hello Mr. and Mrs. kim, my name is Jeon Jungkook, I am 19 years old.

I work as an art teacher assistant but hope to become an art teacher in the future.

As Tae must have told you about me being his mate before I guess I can skip that part." The alpha said with a chuckle and continued.

"I promise to protect and love your son till my last breath, I promise that I would try not to hurt him, love will always bring pain with her but as I said I'll try to hurt him less.

Thank you for raising him this well, by what he told me about you two, you were great people and he's a little version of you two and that's really good." The tears that Taehyung has tried to hold back now painted his cheeks but were of happiness, touched by what Jungkook said as the alpha put his hand on his while he spoke.

There was a sudden cool breeze wrapping them along with the leaves that had fallen and both thought that it was a sign his parents approved of their relationship, Taehyung was sure that his parents would approve of them but was still nervous but not anymore.

"Thank you mom, dad." Taehyung said with a big smile, wiping his tears with Jungkook rubbing his back, satisfied and happy of the approval.

"And you know? you son is very brave as he took the initiative for this relationship.

He was the one who confessed first.

I was waiting for him, I wanted him to take things slow because of what happened to him.

I honestly thought it would take longer for him to get used to me but never have I expected him to like me this fast but I'm happy and I will make sure we're happy together." Taehyung was embarrassed, his cheeks were red and he definitely wondered where that courage came from but was happy that it came to him because if it didn't, they might have not been this happy.
