Chapter 23

To say Taehyung is nervous won't be a lie.

He's so nervous about where they're going that he couldn't even sleep last night that he only slept for three hours if not less.

They were now on their way to the meeting, Jungkook driving and Taehyung sits right next to him, the scenery of city changes are beautiful but Taehyung can't seem to notice it from stress as he focuses on his fingers fidgeting and on his thoughts.

Jungkook sensing it puts a calming hand on Taehyung's hands squeezing them a bit but in assurance.

After about two house they finally arrived.

Jungkook opened the door for Taehyung and Taehyung slowly got out, preparing himself for what's about to come.

Before they took a step towards the house, Jungkook hugged him and told him that everything's gonna be ok.

Taehyung nuzzling into Jungkook's neck, kissing it from sniff to sniff and the alpha got butterflies in his stomach, refusing to go.

They broke the hug and walked towards the house holding hands and Jungkook knocked after looking at Taehyung for permission asking if he's ready.

Taehyung was hella nervous but he also waited for this meeting.

Not long after Jungkook knocked, a beautiful woman probably in her 40's opened the door.

Taehyung was stunned to see that she looks beautiful even in her older years.

"You're finally here sweetheart, it's so nice to see you again." The woman says as she hugs the alpha.

"Yeah, it's good to see you too mom." Jungkook said smiling in the hug.

They broke the hug and he woman looked at Taehyung and he flinched, unconsciously holding Jungkook's hand out of nervousness and Jungkook rubbed his thumb in circles softly on the back of Taehyung's hand.

"My my, you're beautiful.

You must be Taehyung, nice to meet you, I'm Jung yeon, Jungkook's mother." The woman said and a beautiful smile adores her lips as she reached out her hand for Taehyung to shake.

Taehyung could get that she's an omega by her scent, she had a similar scent to something sweet yet he couldn't figure out what sweet scent it was.

"H-hello, I-i'm Taehyung, it's really nice to meet you and thank you." The omega said as he took her hand and shook it gently.

"C'mon inside." She said and gestured them to come in and they both went inside, Taehyung still hasn't let go of Jungkook's hand rather still holding it tightly.

The house was pretty both on the outside and on the inside, Taehyung looked around at the wooden interior, it was simple but beautiful giving off a calming vibe.

Taehyung followed Jungkook to the Livingroom where they saw Jungkook's father who looked also in his 40's, reading a newspaper, looked like he was drawn in it.

"Darling, stop reading that newspaper now, Jungkook and his mate are here." The woman said as she gently hit the man's shoulder, the man immediately looked at them surprised.

Mate. Taehyung smiled at the name she chose to call him by.

"Oh uhm sorry." The man says as he straightens his sitting posture.

Jungkook laughed as if it's not the first time as he sat with Taehyung.

Taehyung was now sitting next to Jungkook's mother, his father sat at a couch for one person.

"So you must be Taehyung right? Jungkook talks about you a lot and I gotta say, you look prettier in real life than the pictures our kookie has sent us." The man said with a smile and Taehyung replied a shy thank you also smiling.
