The second that question was asked, Taehyung was reminded of his parent's death.
Taehyung was really attached to his parents, he loved them so much, they were his everything.
They showed him the most love, let him feel special.
He was truly happy until that accident happen.
The accident that changed his life completely.
It took him a very long time to recover fully from that, we'll leave this story for another time though.
"Oh I'm sorry, you don't have to answer for that, it seems like this is a sensitive subject." Jungkook said as he waved with his hands, noticing the change in Taehyung's pheromones and got a nod from Taehyung.
There was silence between them while Jimin and Yoongi were talking until they noticed the change in the atmosphere cause how could they not?
"Um Jungkook sshi, his parent's subject is very sensitive for him, I think you should refrain from bringing it up." Jimin said in a nice tone.
Jimin knows how much Taehyung loved his parents, he was with him when it was the hardest times, when the good time, in fire and in water, he was with him at any moment of his life.
"Y-yeah, again, I'm sorry Taehyung." Jungkook was truly sorry, the last thing he wanted was to bring up some unpleasant memories.
"I-it's ok." Taehyung said with a small smile.
The rest of the meeting was going pretty well, Taehyung still hasn't loosened completely up, he is sure that it would take time for that, for letting himself trust this alpha.
Jungkook was really happy the whole meeting, getting the chance to get to know him.
Though he thought that he would be as cold as he was before, he was more shy than he expected.
Maybe something changed? he wandered to himself.
The time was already 16:00, both alphas decided that two hours is enough for the first meeting.
As Jimin and Yoongi bid their goodbyes outside the door, Jungkook and Taehyung were at the doorway.
They were now standing in front of each other, Taehyung was looking at the ground, preventing himself from looking at him in fear of creating an eye contact he wouldn't be able to disconnect from, while Jungkook was looking at him with gentle eyes.
"It was really nice to get to know you, even if it was a little bit, I'm happy I got to talk to you.
I hope to talk and meet with you again if possible." Jungkook was first to break the silence.
Taehyung was now instinctively looking right into his eyes, they both stood like this for a few minutes, Jungkook's eyes are full of hope.
"U-umm i'll think about it." Taehyung replied.
Jungkook was happy with this too since it meant that there's a possibility to meet him again.
"ok." Jungkook said while smiling.
"Oh and I almost forgot, can I have your number? so we can at least talk on the phone, I think it'll might help to feel comfortable around each other and get to know each other." Jungkook added nervously, he didn't know if he'll agree or not.
Taehyung saw that the alpha wants a relationship and even mating with him so he just had to declare that he's not gonna get into any relationship.
"I'm j-just gonna say this, I'm not gonna get into any relationship, I don't need nor want it so don't get you hopes up, I'm just doing this to get over my trauma." Taehyung said with an apologetic tone.
He hoped he won't hope for nothing more than friends if he decides to continue with this.
"Is there no way you'll change your mind in the future?" Jungkook asked a bit sad.
Taehyung was shaking his head, now he wasn't sure if Jungkook wanted his number anyway so he just stood there, looking at the ground for the millionth time, not knowing where else to look.
"We can't know what the future holds right? maybe after we'll get to know each other, you'll change your mind.
I don't know what you've been through that made you like this with alphas but I can promise you, I'll treat you right, I can assure you that.
If we'll talk, i'll be happy to hear you out if you'll agree to tell me." Jungkook said confidently.
Taehyung smiled weakly as he nodded lightly.
"I'll see how things go and decide after." Taehyung concluded.
"Jungkook ah, c'mon let's go." He heard Yoongi calling out to him.
"I'll be coming in a second!" Jungkook said back.
"Ah wait, your number may I have it?" Jungkook was sad to leave his omega, he wanted to stay but he knew he had to go.
"Oh sure." The both exchanged numbers and Jungkook left as he waved with a smile.
After a few minutes only he and Jimin were left in the house mixed with pheromones.
Taehyung immediately opened the windows to ventilate the house though his omega was happy to smell his alpha's pheromones.
"so how was it? it didn't seem like you were suffering after you adjusted to the situation." Jimin said with a smile, happy that his friend had succeeded to clear one step.
