"Your parents are really nice.
They also resemble you a lot in your personality, it's like you are your parents but in mini." Taehyung chuckled while looking at Jungkook driving.
"Yeah, I learnt for the best.
I always wanted to be like them, kind, humble, respectful I saw the way they treated people and I was proud to have such parents.
And around that time I started building myself to resemble them but not be like them completely because we are all different people, I can't mimic them even if I wanted to." Jungkook was looking ahead at the road.
Taehyung wondered what did he do to get such a perfect mate.
Well maybe he's not perfect but in his eyes, he's perfect, nothing else is needed to add.
"That's amazing to hear.
You succeeded, I'm so proud of you." Taehyung proudly said and Jungkook was way too happy to hear it from his mate, a big smile was plastered on his lips as he put the back of his hand on his smile.
They stay quiet because sometimes, just being with each other is enough.
Jungkook has sometimes put his hand on Taehyung's hand for a few minutes and then pulled back, both loving the touch.
When they reached home Taehyung went to his house because he wanted to catch up with Jimin and the alpha kissed him goodbye.
"I'm really glad I finally met your parents." Taehyung said while hugging the alpha and the alpha gladly reciprocated the hug.
"Me too, I knew they'd like you, I had no doubt in that." Jungkook said with a smile.
"Yeah, I'm also glad they liked me, I don't know what I would've done if they didn't." Taehyung said the last part a little worried.
"Nah that wouldn't have happened, and even if it did, I would've written them a whole book of reasons to like you." Jungkook was now looking into Taehyung's eyes, still in the hug.
Taehyung just smiled and kissed him.
"I see you two are MADLY in love." They both were startled as a man said it while putting his hands on their shoulder, both breaking the kiss to see who it was and instinctively pushing Taehyung away from the voice.
"Jimin?!" Taehyung said, surprised he didn't even sense him and Jimin just laughed at the situation.
"You startled us kiddo." Jungkook said with s mile while giving a little hit on his head receiving an ouch from the other omega.
"Didn't you sense me? it can't be you were too focused on kissing each other that you didn't notice me coming." Jimin said yet he knew it was true.
The other two just looked at each other and laughed, Jungkook's one hand still on the black haired boy.
"Now c'mon give him to me now, you were with him the whole day." Jimin said and before Jungkook could reply Jimin pulled Taehyung by his wrist into his house.
Taehyung turned around and waved at him in surprise as he saw that Jungkook wasn't too pleased that his mate was snatched from him but he knew he wasn't serious as he waved him back with a smile.
Both Jimin and Taehyung were on the couch, catching up.
Taehyung had told him about Ji Hoon and Jimin was hurt that he didn't tell him about it until now, he had a four days to tell him but when Taehyung explained why he didn't tell him Jimin understood and forgave him.
"I'm really sorry, I just wanted to forget it as least until after the meeting with Kookie's parents.
I swear I was gonna tell you about it, there's no way I'll hide anything from you." Taehyung did feel bad about hiding it from Jimin, he wanted to tell him and that he'll comfort him but didn't want to think about it until the meeting with his mate's parents was over.
"I understand Taetae, I forgive you." And Taehyung hugged him with a thank you.
"So tell me, how was the meeting with his parents? how were they?" Jimin was curious and nervous that they might have not liked him though he didn't believe that and relaxed when he saw Taehyung smiling.
"They seemed to like me.
They were really nice people, just like my Kookie.
We ate and her food was delicious, I really liked her Japchae and I don't remember the names if the things I ate there but they all were delicious, and we talked a lot and his mother told me that he talked about me everyday to them." Taehyung was over the moon at the thought that his lover thought about him everyday, that everyday he was on his mind.
"Yoonie told me that he usually have to shut him up whenever it comes to you because he knows that once he starts talking about you he can't stop, he really loves you." Jimin chuckled and was happy that his best friend got someone to love him just like he deserves.
"He's so stupid, but he's my stupid." Taehyung actually loved the fact that Jungkook talks about how much he loves him to others, he also brags to Jimin about him of course, about how he treats him, the places they're going and of course about how much he loves him because his love for him grew to the extent that he can't keep it to himself anymore.
Jimin smiled at his best friend in love, he never thought that Taehyung would ever open up his heart for someone again but look at the power of the mate bond.
"So Tae, did you two think about the mark? have you done it? I would've known if you did." Jimin sure was curious and Taehyung's cheek were red due to embarrassment.
"We haven't done it yet but I thought about the mark.
I want him to m-mark me but I'm too embarrassed to even bring it up." Taehyung looked down because he didn't want Jimin to laugh at him because of how easily he blushes even though it won't be his first time.
"Stupid, you know he'll be glad to mark you, why are you so afraid?" Jimin asked.
"I'm not afraid, I'm just nervous, what if he'll say that it's too soon? what if he marks me and regrets it in the future?" Taehyung was worried that Jungkook would get tired of him and leave him or be with him unwillingly because of the mate mark.
"Are you stupid or are you stupid? too soon? the guy is dying to mark you, regrets it? he'll rather die than regret it and he won't, on the contrary, he'll regret it if he won't mark you.
Stop being stupid and think about useless things and talk to him about it, I can assure you he'll say yes so don't worry." What Jimin said has calmed Taehyung down because what he said made sense.
The truth is, Jungkook is really dying to mark Taehyung but he's afraid that If he'll bring it up Taehyung would think he pressures him to take another step and he wants them to go in Taehyung's speed, whatever he's comfortable with because Taehyung's comfortableness comes first.
"Yeah, you're right, I will talk to him the next time I see him." Taehyung said with a smile and confidence and Jim smiled a proud and happy smile too.
"Hey Jiminie, let's bake something, cake or cookies or we can do both." Taehyung suggested, more like stated.
"Oh yeahh, let's do that, I love baking." And they both went to the kitchen and started baking.
