So here we are now. Now that you've seen how hectic my life is now, you can relate a little better. So anyway. I just moved to Nebraska and now I'm living with Jack Gilinsky. For all the fans out there, don't think this is a good thing. He's really annoying. I guess I'll get used to it. But their house is nice and big. My room was about the same size as my previous room was but a little bigger. We've been living here for a few weeks now. I'd set up everything and decorated it the same way my other room was decorated. But I still had unpacked suitcases and boxes everywhere. Since half of my clothes were in my suitcases, I just threw on anything to wear. Luckily I had packed some cute clothes. I threw on a tank tops, skinny jeans, and vans. A put a headband in my hair to keep it out of my face. And did light makeup. I looked in a random box to see what was in it. This one had some decoration pillows in it. I took them out and what I found at the bottom of the box almost made me loose it. It was a picture of my mom, dad, and I when they were still married. I was seven years old. I remember that day perfectly. We were all happy.Flashback
"Daddy where are we going first?!" I asked excitedly. Mom was a flight attendant. So that meant we could travel EVERYWHERE!! I love my parents. Whenever I finish a grade level they plan this cool vacation for us. This time we were going to Paris!!!! Ever since they told me a smile spread over my face and it's still across my face now. Our plane just landed and all the passengers got off. Dad laughed. "Well we have to get our stuff first." He said as he picked me up and all three of us got off the plane. When we did get off the plane, we got our luggage and went to our hotel.
The hotel from was huge!! I ran in and started jumping on one of the beds. Mom and dad were talking. I could her the conversation. I ran over to them and interrupted. "Can we go to the Eiffel Tower?!" I asked happily. Mom and dad exchanged looks. "Sure!" They said in unison.
When we got there the first thing we did was take a picture when we got to the top. This was one of the best days of my life.End of flashback
I was just staring at the picture for a while. I felt silent tears fall down my cheek. I heard a knock on my door. I quickly wiped my face and put the picture back in the box. "Come in." I say. The door opens. It was Jack. "Hey..." He says as he walks in. I spun around. "Hi." "Do you need anything. You good?" He asked. I was surprised he cared. "Umm, no... I'm good." I said. He looked at me for a second. "You know your mascara is running right?" He added. Crap. The makeup I'd done this morning was messed up. I casually wiped my face. "Uh, yeah I put it on kinda sloppy this morning." I said; failing to come up with a good excuse. He nodded. "Ok then.." He said as he left my room. When he left I took the photo out of the box and set it on my nightstand. I checked the time on my phone. It was noon. I went downstairs to the kitchen. I wasn't hungry, so I got a bottle of water and went back up to my room.
Jack G POV:
I'm kinda surprised that I checked on Jessica. And dad didn't even force me to. I mean, she seemed like a snob when I first met her. But she seems kinda cool now. Maybe she won't be too bad. I was really bored. While everyone was unpacking, I texted Jack asking him to come over. He said he's be here in fifteen minutes. "Hey Jack! Come help me move this!" Shouted dad through the house. "Ok, I'm coming!" I replied. I went downstairs and helped dad move furniture.
Jack J POV:
I got to Jack's house in about fifteen minutes like I said. When I rang the doorbell I got an unexpected surprise. There was a girl standing at the door. She was tall with long brown curly hair. She was kinda cute. She sort if looked like the girl at the wedding... The one I wanted to talk to but didn't. I was assuming she was Jack's girlfriend or something. "Wow... Jack didn't tell me he got a girlfriend." I said jokingly. A sarcastic smile spread across her face. "Uhh, he didn't. I'm his new stepsister." She said. Then it must have been her! I smiled. "Ohh, well that makes a lot more sense." She chuckled. 'Jack normally doesn't get girls as pretty as you are.' I thought. "Thanks..." Said the girl. She was blushing. I gave her a look of confusion. "For what?" I asked. She smiled. "What you just said..." "Wait did I say that out loud?" I asked. I felt my face turning red too. She nodded. "Oh wow...that's embarrassing," I mumbled. She giggled. "It's fine.." She trailed off. I guess I didn't say that to myself. "I'm Jessica by the way." She added. I smiled at her. "I'm Jack, Johnson obviously." We shook hands and something clicked. We just stood there for a second; still holding each other's hand. She pulled her hand away. "Sorry, umm. You probably wanna come in." She said; realizing she was still standing in the door way. I cleared my throat. "Uh yeah sure." I say as I walked inside. There were boxes everywhere. "I'll get Jack..." Jessica said as she walked away. I nodded.
Jessica POV:
I left to find Jack. I felt my face. It was on fire, well almost. "Jack, Jack is here." I said to him. "Ok, thanks." he replied. I went back upstairs and Jack and Jack stayed downstairs for a while.
Jack G POV:
"Your stepsister seems really nice." Said Jack. I shrugged my shoulders. "Eh. She not that nice. But she's kinda friendly." I said. "Mmm hmmm." Jack mumbled. He seemed like he was staring into space. I snapped my fingers in front of his face. That seems to work. "Are you ok?" I asked him. He looked at me like I was crazy. "Yeah. Are you ok?" He asked defensively. I nodded. "I was just checking...." I added. "I'm fine." He answered. "Ok, ok." I said. "You wanna make a vine?" I asked excitedly. He nodded. But Jack had that same smile and dazed look again. I huffed. "Ok, let's go." I said annoyed as we got up to go outside.
