Ch. 6

"Okay class my name is Mr. Campbell" Dereck said.

One thought really crossed my mind, and it wasn't why he was suddenly teaching here, no, it was how he got here, considering there was sunlight out. I stayed quiet the whole class period, except when he read off the attendance sheet. Finally the bell rang and I was hoping to get out before he could say anything to me, but unfortunately that didn't happen.

"Miss Johnson, could you stay after for a moment?" He asked.

I nodded my head and walked back into the classroom and went and sat down in one of the desk towards the front. The both of us said nothing for a while, I finally was done waiting, so I asked,

"What are you doing here?"

"I teach here" he replied.

"Why?" I asked.

"Remember what I said about what would happen if you weren't around me for 12 hours?" He asked.

I nodded my head.

"Well if I can't be in your house at night, how are you supposed to be around me then?" He said.

"I don't know, but you seriously can't teach here." I said.

"Okay, how about an agreement?" He asked.

I hesitated before nodding my head yes.

"I won't teach here, if I get to stay in your room through the night, just so I can keep the pain away from you." He said.

I thought about it. It would keep me out of pain and I wouldn't have to see him at school. I finally said yes, and Walked out of the classroom to my next period, English.

After a long day of school it was finally time to go home. I walked out of the school and got into my car and started driving home. All of the sudden the car stopped. I got out and went to check what was wrong. As I was walking towards the hood of the car, I froze, because the front left tire was slashed, and the knife was still in it, so it was recent.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket, getting ready to call Dereck, but then realized I don't have his number. I locked my phone and slid it back into my pocket. I looked around to see maybe if there was a gas station or any where that had a phone. Nothing but the woods were around me, great. I looked over towards the woods, and seen what I thought was a dog enter. I wasn't going to go in there at first, but hey I'm a curious girl. I walked toward the entrance and hesitated before actually going in.

I was walking down a hill when I was suddenly pushed. I rolled all the way down the hill. I looked up to see a huge black wolf staring down at me. I quickly got up and ran, but I wasn't fast enough because now the thing was on top of me. I screamed for help, but nobody answered me or came to help. The thing on top of me but down on my leg and I screamed in pain, it was about to bite my leg again when it was pushed away from me. All I heard was growling and hissing, but before I could see who came to help me, I passed out.
