Saving Peyton ( SP #1)

Ch. 11

It took us less than five minuets to get to the motel. When we finally arrived we were all in shock. The Motel looked as if it was going to collapse at any given minute. Kayden is so going to get it when we get inside, well if it doesn't collapse first that is. Dereck sat me down and we all went inside. The inside wasn't any better, if anything it was worse. Kayden walked up to the front desk and asked for two rooms, I was assuming one for me and one for the boys.

After a short conversation Kayden walked back to us and handed Dereck a room key and kept one for himself.

"Where is Peyton's key at?" Dereck asked.

"Your holding it." Kayden replied.

"Dude you know I cant share a room with her"

Ouch. That hurt. Kayden and Dereck were having a silent conversation, when the motels front doors busted open. Kayden and Dereck looked back, towards the front of the motel. Kayden mumbled some curse words before Dereck sped towards me and lifted me up once again. It took all I had not to scream out in pain when he lifted me up. Kayden grabbed my bag and we all sped upstairs to the rooms. Kayden unlocked the first one, room 124, and we all went inside and Kayden locked the door. Dereck walked over to the bed, sat me down and wiped away all the tears running down my face.

It was pretty pathetic. I didn't even know I was crying until he did that. He looked at me and I could see the guilt he felt for himself slowly start to eat him inside. I gave him a small smile and mumbled thanks. I looked around the room, there were two queen sized beds that the sheets looked like they have never been washed, a window on the north side of the room and a small bathroom in the corner. I didn't even want to go in the bathroom, because if it was anything like the room we were in now i'm better off not knowing.

I made Kayden and Dereck go inside the bathroom while I changed in to my pjs. After I put them on I brushed out my hair with my fingers to try and get all the rats out, and then I used my hair tie to quickly put it up in a messy ponytail. I yelled at Kayden and , telling them they could come on out.

"Nice pjs, but whos Edward?" Kayden asked.

I looked down to see what I had put on. I had bright pink athletic shorts on, and my 'Twilight' shirt that read "Team Edward." with a ppicture of him and Bella together.

"You have never seen 'Twilight'?" I asked.

He shook his head no.

I took a deep breath before saying, "Edward's family are vampires, Bella is a human, they fall in love, have a kid, and she eventually turns."

Kayden said he was confused, and I gave up trying to explain it. I walked to the bed on the right side of the room and laid down. Kayden and Dereck stood there frozen again, having yet another silent conversation. Finally Dereck threw his hand up and said whatever, and went into the bathroom to change.

When he walked out I was almost asleep. I felt the other side of the bed dip down and an arm went around my waist and pulled me closer. I knew it was Dereck because of the way he smelled, like vanilla with some kind of berry added into it. I rolled over and laid my head on his chest and smiled. He was playing with my hair before we both fell asleep.

A/N: The next chapter will probably start out in Kaydens P.O.V, and switch to Derecks, and eventually switch back to Peyton's. There will also be a lot more Dereck and Peyton, and lots more drama happening. Thanks for reading and remember to comment and vote. Thanks! ~Kacey
