Dereck's Pov
Its been 3 days, 12 hours, 27 minutes and 53 seconds, since Peyton has became a vampire, and she has not woken up yet. Usally a newly turned vampire passes out for a few hours, not a few days.
These past 3 days I haven't slept, or ate. I'm constantly worring. What if she doesnt wake up? What if I lost her forever? And reality is if shes truely gone it would be completly my fault.
My bedroom door opened and I turned to see Kayden walk in. He didnt say anything, knowing i was in no mood to talk. The past 2 days, everyday Kayden has tried getting me to leave Peyton and go feed or go sleep, and everytime i refuse, i need to be here when she wakes up, if she wakes up.
I saw Kayden open his mouth and close it again, trying to fighure out what to say. Finally after what seemed like hours he looked over at me and said,
" Dereck, when she wakes up shes gojng to need you, and you wint be able to help her if you havent feed or havent slept."
I looked over at him, i knew he was right, but i didnt care i refused to leave Peyton. When he figured out i wasnt going to respond he looked at me, and i could tell he was dissapointed. He shook his head and walked out of the room leaving me alone, again with just my thoughts.
