"Ra'mora!" She heard Tuk yell. "Hm?" She hummed, not exactly hearing her all the way as she was barely awake with her eyes still closed.
"Mora wake up!" Tuk tugged on her hand, "We have lessons today!"

She opened one eye and looked around, no one was awake yet. "Tuk Tuk, did Tsireya tell you that or are you just assuming?" Ra'mora questioned as she rubbed her eyes harshly.

"Well, no..." Ra'mora groaned in response and told Tuk to go back to sleep. She figured that they probably had the day off today after the conversation they had last night with Tsireya.

"Neteyam get your fatass off me." She grumbled as she tried to lift up her twin who was sprawled out on top of her. 'How does he always manage to end up on top of me!?'

Neteyam simply groaned in response and mumbled the words, "Too early."

Ra'mora smacked his back which made him yelp and clutch his back, she took that as her chance to push him off her. "Great mother, my ribs are going to collapse one of these days." She muttered in reference to Neteyam somehow always ending up being sprawled out on top of her.

"Shut up and go back to sleep." He hissed as he turned on to his side, "Why are you up so early anyway?"

"Tuk thought we had lessons today and forced me to wake up. By the way, if I have to wake up then so do you." Before he could question her he was splashed with cold water.

The girl laughed loudly, clutching her stomach as she hunched over a bit. Neteyam sat there with water all over him as he stared at his twin with his mouth open.

She simply walked away from him as she wiped the tears from her eyes that came out from laughing too hard. She was walking towards the middle of the pod that held a small pit made for cooking or bonfires, which really wasn't a very smart idea.

As she started to prepare to make breakfast for her and her family, a very grumpy Neteyam came out. She giggled at the sight of him. "Feeling refreshed, brother?"

"Don't talk to me."

She laughed once more at his reaction as she sat across from her and helped her make breakfast. She looked around the pod and realized this wasn't a very good idea, since the pod was made of some sort of wood and to have a pit meant for cooking in the middle of it wasn't the smartest idea.

"This was such a dumb place to put this." Neteyam says as he begins to clean some fish while Ra'mora prepared some vegetables to cook.

"Tell me about it." She says sarcastically.

The twins sat there preparing breakfast and talking to each other about random things as they wait for the rest of their family to wake up. They all slowly begin to awake once they smelled the scent of the fish roasting.

The two twins burst out laughing as they saw Lo'ak appear first after a few minutes of the fish roasting.

"You owe me a yakloz." She says to her twin brother, to which he rolled his eyes and handed the fruit to her, he did find the situation amusing though.

Lo'ak was very confused on what the two were on about.

"What are you guys talking about?" Lo'ak grumbled as he rubbed his eye,

"We we're betting on who would wake up first,"  Neteyam explains,

"And I said you would wake up first because of the smell of food." Ra'mora finishes with a proud smile. Neteyam shrugged, "I'm not even mad at that because I knew she was right."

Lo'ak rolled his eyes and reached for a piece of fruit his sister had prepared just now as Ra'mora bit into her yakloz.

Yakloz was a fruit from the forest that their family brought here, knowing it was the twin's favorite.

They would probably go batshit insane without eating another yakloz in their life, which would probably be soon since it's not like they brought an entire yakloz tree with them.

Lo'ak joined in on the conversation the twins were having, and as Neteyam was checking if the fish were cooked he groaned loudly as he saw their father wake up next.

Ra'mora already had her hand extended out for the fruit with a cocky smirk on her face.

"Thank you so much, kind sir." He rolled his eyes at her again.

Now it was Jake's turn to be confused as he watched the exchange between his two eldest kids.

"What the hell is happening?" He asked as he took a seat by the three of them too.

"They're betting on the order of who wakes up I guess." Lo'ak explains.

Some of the fish were cooked, so Neteyam took them off the fire to cool off as the others continued to cook.

"By the time the girls wake up we can eat together." Neteyam informs.

The four then conversed about random things as before, they were listening intently to a story their father was telling them about that happened when he met their mother.

Just as he was about to get to the good part, Neteyam groaned loudly as his sister cheered once they saw Kiri wake up next. Usually Kiri or Tuk were last to wake up, and their mother would wake up before everyone else.

"Kiri why'd you have to wake up early today!" Neteyam whines as he hands Ra'mora another yakloz. She grins widely and gives Kiri a big hug.

"Thank you so much Kiri for waking up early today I love you so much, little sister!" She said as she repeatedly kissed her cheek.

Kiri laughed and hugged her back even though she was very confused. The two went back to the little group around the pit and they went back to listening Jake's story.

"Father, can we-"

"Ahem."

Ra'mora looked to her left and saw her twin brother staring at her with a smug look on his face and his hand extended out.

"What? Tuk did not wake up yet." She says with confusion in her voice.

He then nods his head in the direction of where Tuk stood, rubbing her eyes tiredly and then crawling to sit in their father's lap.

"Tuk why did you have to wake up so early! I just earned these yakloz!" She whined as she then handed Neteyam back the fruit she just earned.

She handed him two, because she already knew their mother would wake up last. She usually was the first awake, but she was probably so exhausted from the trip that she wanted to sleep in.

Their mom finally woke up and the fish were ready to be eaten. Mid way through eating their breakfast and conversation, Jake let them know that the Chief's children will pick them up for lessons today.

Instead of the whole day off, they had half the day off. They will be picked up sometime later in the day instead.

Lo'ak and Kiri groaned loudly at the news and Ra'mora rolled her eyes. They didn't have a choice though so they accepted it.

Jake was about to start lecturing them about being on their best behavior, but thankfully Neytiri stopped him and they all shot her a thankful look.

As Ra'mora and Neteyam were helping their mother clean up after breakfast thirty minutes later, Tsireya came in and greeted them.

"Hello everyone," She said with a warm smile, "I hope you guys had a good sleep, just wanted to let you all know that lessons will be starting soon! I will come back to pick you guys up in a few minutes." She says and walks away.

Ra'mora sighed heavily. This was going to be a long day.
