Bold = Metkayina sign languageThe whole group sat in a circle again. Ayreina was currently scolding Neteyam's finger placement, Rotxo was happy that Kiri was a fast learner, and Tsireya was encouraging both Tuk and Lo'ak to keep trying.
Ao'nung and Ra'mora were currently bickering now about who woke up who first while Ao'nung was positioning Ra'mora's fingers properly.
"I only woke up because you kept pulling on MY blanket." Ra'mora scowled as she watched Ao'nung's hands grace over her own.
"Maybe if you weren't so greedy with it I wouldn't have to tug on it." He grumbled.
The two kept bickering while every would sneak glances at them from afar.
"When did they become friends?" Lo'ak whispered to Tsireya.
She shrugged, "I don't know. I thought she hated him.."
"She still does. She doesn't forgive easily."
Tsireya nodded and they both went back to their lesson.
After Ao'nung and Ra'mora became aware of their surroundings after they woke up, they started to act strange. Like they didn't become somewhat friends the previous night.
It became insanely awkward when she fully woke up and realized she was sharing a blanket with Ao'nung with her head on his shoulder.
She could've sworn that he was Neteyam, if she knew it was Ao'nung she wouldn't have offered the blanket to him in the first place.
It's like after what happened last night they forgot about it, because Ra'mora's hatred for Ao'nung came back and so did Ao'nung's annoyance.
They both went back to bickering with each other, Ra'mora felt as though she can't trust him anymore after his second apology but something told her she should.
She didn't know exactly what was trying to tell her, but she could feel it. She could feel something trying to tell her that this was the right thing to do.
But as stubborn as she was, she ignored it and chose her own path. She decided that she shouldn't trust Ao'nung until he could actually show her that he was genuinely sorry. She wanted him to prove himself to her.
Ra'mora took after her mother a lot, so she couldn't just forgive someone so easily. She couldn't believe she was so naive to think that he was being genuine the first time.
Now that little bit of trust she had in him to change faded again.
Even after their little private lesson from last night and the brand new things they learned about one another she couldn't shake this feeling off.
As her and her family continued living in Awa'atlu, this feeling of something bad was coming just wouldn't go away.
She didn't know how to tell her family, or if she should even tell them. How could she warn them about something she didn't know about? Exactly, she can't.
All she could was pray to Eywa that she can keep her and her loved ones safe.
Randomly she will hear the thumping noise return, just like last night. She was trying to figure out what it meant and why the 'heartbeat' would go from irregular and fast to calm and steady.
Maybe Eywa was trying to tell her something? Since it would only come to her during specific events.
All of it confused Ra'mora, it was part of the reason why she couldn't sleep at night.
Last night she learned more about Ao'nung and his personality, but she also learned about how she felt about him. And to be honest, she wasn't even sure about he she felt about him.
Only time will tell.
