Bold = Metkayina sign language"Neteyam?" I called out as I floated in the water. I looked around and it looked like I was near some sort of demon ship.
Where was I? What is happening?
To my left I saw Lo'ak and Spider cheering. Wait spider was back? I looked to my right because I heard strange noises, and it was coming from Neteyam.
I gasped loudly as I saw red clouding in the water around, making me immediately swim over to him.
"I've been shot!" He groans.
I immediately call over Lo'ak and I quickly placed him on my ilu as I applied pressure on the bullet wound.
I knew it was over for him. It pierced right through his heart. I didn't want to accept it.
We stopped at a flat rock that was above the surface in the water and we met our dad there, our mom following soon after.
"Watch his head!" Dad called out as Lo'ak and I placed him down on the rock.
"Neteyam please please please please..." I kept mumbling as he held onto my hand tightly.
"I.. I want to go home!" He says in a panic as he looked all around at us. Mom looked at him with a look of pity and rubbed his hair.
"I.. I know." Jake says, his voice cracking.
"Great Mother please don't let it end this way, Great Mother please.." I begged.
"Ra'mora," Neteyam says as his grip on my hand was loosening slightly, "I love you sister, I see you."
I tried my hardest to hold in my sobs, I swallowed harshly and let out a quiet, "I love you too, I see you."
Just then, he took his final breath.
He died, and the last thing he saw was me.
I watched as his once bright beautiful eyes that were so full of life have the life sucked out of them, they became so dull.
Neytiri started screaming.
"Neteyam? Neteyam!" She screamed. She screamed out in agony as tears streamed down her face while she stared down at her son's lifeless body.
"Great Mother! Oh Great Mother please..." She begged as she looked up at the sky.
Jake held onto his mate as he stared at their son, looking numb.
Tsireya was a little farther away from us, giving us our space as tears streamed down her face too.
Lo'ak stared up at the sky with Neteyam's blood all over his hands.
I held Neteyam's now cold and loose hand up to my cheek as I stared at him. The way his lifeless eyes stare straight at me will forever haunt me.
"Ra'mora," Neteyam says, "Wake up."
"What?"
What the fuck?
"Wake up!"
My mouth opened to say something, but nothing came out and it was like Neteyam was sucked away from me.
"No!" I screamed as I reached my hand out towards him.
