Somehow the conversation that was catching both brothers up on the forming couple ended up with Ra'mora and Neteyam threatening Lo'ak to keep his mouth shut. No one really knows how it got to that point, but it wasn't necessarily a surprise.
"Okay okay! Jeez, it's not like it was exciting enough to make me yap to everyone about it."
She rolled her eyes, "I'm serious Lo, only you and Neteyam know. I plan on keeping it like that for awhile."
Neteyam's eyebrows furrowed even though he already knew that, "Awhile? But what about mom and dad?"
"Awhile doesn't mean forever. I'll tell them, but definitely not anytime soon."
The two boys nodded in an understanding way and both swore to not tell anybody else. Lo'ak decided to change topics, "A few days ago Tsireya was talking about the Tulkun arriving soon and today the clan is setting up decorations. I think they're coming either today or tomorrow."
"Yeah I remember her talking about that. Hey speaking of Tulkuns, how is Payakan doing? I miss his singing."
Ra'mora and Neteyam both noticed how Lo'ak's face lit up at the mention of Payakan. It made Ra'mora remember how happy Lo'ak was when they hung out with Payakan together. In that moment she felt like they were home again.
Peacefully.
"He's doing great! I can finally communicate with him now believe or not." He joked, earning a laugh out of Ra'mora.
"Hey you should come visit him again with me today. And you too Neteyam." He looked over at Neteyam with hopeful eyes, already knowing he was gonna try to disagree.
"I don't know Lo'ak, It doesn't seem very sa-"
"Please?" Lo'ak clasped his hands together, sticking out his bottom lip dramatically as he did his puppy eyes again the same way he did to Ra'mora when he first asked her.
Neteyam sighed and looked over at Ra'mora, only to find her doing the same exact thing as their younger brother. "Seriously? You wanna go too Mora?"
"Pretty pleaseeee?" She pleaded.
Neteyam poked the inside of his cheek with his tongue, deep in thought. He rolled his eyes as he sighed. "Fine. I'll go."
"Hell yeah!" Lo'ak and Ra'mora cheered, giving each other a high five.
"This is such a bad idea." He muttered as he dragged a hand down his face.

As the trio trotted down the firm bouncy pathway all while giggling, they ran into three of the Metkayina teens. It wasn't exactly a shocker that Ayreina was no where to be seen, but Rotxo and Tsireya exchanging pitiful glances to Neteyam's way.She took notice of their looks and the guilty sorrowful one on Neteyam's face upon not seeing Ayreina. What the hell happened in the span of two days for all of this? She definitely made a mental note to ask one of them later, specifically Neteyam.
"Hey Lo'ak!" Tsireya greeted brightly.
Ra'mora smirked when she noticed her younger brother grow sheepish.
"Oh- Hey Reya." He greeted back in a small, shy voice as he rubbed the nape of his neck sheepishly.
"Do you wanna hang out today? Tomorrow the tulkun will arrive so the whole clan will be very busy."
