"My fellow Americans, it has been a day since Supergirl's attack on the White House in apparent retaliation for our repeal of the Alien Amnesty Act," President Baker said in front of the camera on a live broadcast once more, continuing the shaming of Supergirl. This time, she watched the broadcast with Lena and Alex at L-Corp. At least listening to it was more bearable when they were watching it with her. Even though they didn't know her identity right now. They didn't know who they were protecting..

"While she and those with whom she conspired remain at large, I have an obligation to ensure the safety of all citizens. So, at 19:00 hours today, I am initiating a sundown to sunup curfew. Humans caught loitering will be cited. Aliens will be stopped by any means necessary. And to Supergirl," The President directly addressed her, "Turn yourself in. We do not want a war with you, but we vow to use every asset in our power to see that justice is down."

Lena shook her head and repeated with sarcasm, "Justice?" She snarled, "What a crock."

Then a sudden car crash rang in Supergirl's ears, Help! Somebody help, I'm trapped! She heard as someone pleaded from across the city. "I have to go," Supergirl stated quickly, then walked over to the balcony.

Alex stopped her with concern on her face, "You heard the President, it isn't safe—."

"If the government wants to stop me from helping people, let them try," Supergirl didn't listen to Alex's clear demand for her to stay, then she finished rushing to the balcony and flying away, towards the accident. Alex furrowed her eyebrows in worry.

By the time Kara made it to the scene, the flipped car was searing in flames with the poor man still inside. She quickly put out the fire with her freeze breath, pulled the door open on the driver's side, and put her hand out for the man to grab, "Here."

Before she could help get him out of the car, she heard shots fire in the air. Three people were coming up on her, and the middle man who fired the gun aimed it at her, "This is a citizen's arrest."

Supergirl sighed, then said with hope's of them leaving her to her normal duties, "This man needs help." She gestured at the car. "Put the gun—," he fired at her before she could finish, and she caught the bullet. The trapped man was halfway out of the car and he put his head down on the ground from the sounds of the shots. "Stop!" She demanded, then informed, "What you saw on the news— that wasn't me—."

"We saw the footage!" The girl to the right of the man with the gun yelled. Usually, footage doesn't lie... but whatever that was, it was a lie. Kara was still vexed on how it was even possible. Maybe Bizarro? But even Maxwell Lord wouldn't go to such lengths to make the world hate her. Plus, they sort of came to a peace years ago.

"You stay back, traitor!" The armed man demanded with the gun still aimed at Supergirl.

Supergirl gestured her hands at her waist with her palms open in a peaceful manner, trying to calm the situation, "I'm not going to hurt any—," there gunshots were fired, and Kara managed to catch one with her left hand first, another with her right, which crossed over her left arm, and she failed to catch the third, which hit the car, causing a minor explosion of fire. Kara ducked as soon as it went up in flames again. Supergirl furrowed her eyebrows with worry in her voice, "You're gonna kill someone—!"

"She's gonna kill us," The man to the left of the armed person immediately responded.

"Not if I kill her first," the man with the gun stated, then began rapidly firing at Supergirl, not caring about the guy still trying to crawl out of the burning car.

Supergirl shielded herself and the man with her cape, then immediately flew them away from the gun fire. They landed a few blocks away, and she asked the man, "Are you okay?"
