The room was silent. Everyone's eyes were on Supergirl, who was dangerously close to using her heat vision, only stopped by Lena standing between her and the President. Lena had her hand out calmly in front of Supergirl, hoping the Kryptonian would calm down. Supergirl furrowed her eyebrows, blinked multiple times, and her eyes cooled down, settling back to the green kryptonite-like color, and no threatening heat vision. Her eyes became glossy, as she felt immediate gilt for her reaction. Her lack of control. Supergirl she shook her head, muttering, "I- I-." She was caught off by the judge.

"I've seen enough."

"Ma'am," Lena turned to the judge, "Wait. Let me talk to Supergirl."

"You expect her to let you do that? After what she just saw?" President Baker tilted his head. He shook it, "That isn't going to happen. This trial is over."

"You're not the one who decides that, Mr. President," Lena shook her head and stated.

"You're right," The judge nodded, "The President doesn't decide. But I do," she looked at Lena, then at Supergirl as she raised her hammer, "Supergirl, I hereby sentence you to the death penalty, and your alien brethren will soon follow." Supergirl clenched her fists and held back. No alien would be safe after this.

"No-!" Alex shook her head with wide and fearful eyes. She yelled to the screen, shaking the tablet.

Before the judge could hit the board with her hammer, while it was still mid-swing, someone shouted from the back, "Wait!" 'She' walked to the center of the court. The judge froze. Everyone's eyes fell on the person. So did the cameras. "Let Lena talk to Supergirl." J'onn stated. It was him, as Kara to everyone else. "I have plenty to say before this trial ends." His heart was racing from how nerve racking it was to be Kara in front of everyone.

"Your say wouldn't change the outcome, Ms. Danvers. Besides, I would assume that you would want this more than anyone?" The judge questioned with a shrug.

"You assume wrong," J'onn bluntly corrected. He looked at Supergirl, who was surprised to see him be so outspoken as— her. "I'm not here as a witness against Supergirl. I am here to tell you all that you have it wrong." He looked around the court. The jury was just arriving back to their seats.

"She framed you–why would you side with her?" The President immediately asked.

"Because it wasn't Supergirl who framed me," J'onn furrowed his eyebrows up and gestured a hand out to Supergirl, who was hiding a slight smile, thankful. "Here it from me. A reporter. Supergirl has been my source for so many stories. I know firsthand that she has only done good. She's saved so many people." He looked Supergirl in the eye, "I know that she would never commit the acts of a terrorist."

"She could have just killed me moments ago," President Baker reminded the court in a blunt tone.

"Well, she has been exposed to Kryptonite for a constant amount of time, days on end, has she not?" J'onn shrugged. "Losing herself in her powers, it's because of that constant exposure."

"Even if that is the case, Ms. Danvers, Supergirl still poses a dangerous threat," The President stated with a firm nod. He looked at Lena and Supergirl. "I will not risk giving her the chance to escape by giving her and Lena Luthor some time to chat alone."

"Then don't," Ben Lockwood walked up to Supergirl and Lena from the post he stood in by the wall. Lord focused as he made Lockwood look at the President. "I will make sure Supergirl does not harm, nor escape." He looked at Lena, "And I will make sure Ms. Luthor doesn't try to help Supergirl escape." Then everyone looked at the judge. Lex was sitting angrily in his seat and the President was shaking his head against Lena and Supergirl speaking.
