09 - Dreamer

Most military men, FBI agents, and all of the Children of Liberty were cleared out of CatCo as reporters came in. The ones who stayed were the ones who were arresting D.E.O Agents and James. Cameras were on when he was arrested by one of the military men, personally from D.C. James was arrested on charges of aiding and abetting a 'terrorist'. His intentions were clearly placed with Supergirl, and it showed that he had done more than just 'believe' she was innocent. And as said by one of the martial law men, he apparently called Supergirl by her real name, Kara. After he claimed to believe that it couldn't be her, on camera.

James had an emotionless looking face. He didn't want to answer any of the questions people kept asking him as he was escorted down the stairs to leave CatCo. And many people were questioning the men who had cuffs around the 'FBI' agents. How could so many of the FBI be arrested? But their questions were ignored as everyone who was arrested was escorted out of CatCo.

Cat Grant wasn't arrested, however. There was nothing to prove that she actually aided Supergirl. Only a ridiculous belief that Supergirl was innocent, and an incredibly large amount of denial, which was reasonable given how much she put into Supergirl through the media in the beginning. Her denial made sense coming from her stand point. But it wasn't anything she could actually be arrested for.

Some people came up to Cat and asked many questions with the cameras on her, but she stated in a dry tone, "I won't be talking to the cameras right now," she shoved her way past the girl holding the camera.

Elevator

Alex woke up after being out for a while from exhausting herself with the elevator doors. Thankfully, Lockwood was still unconscious. She didn't have to deal with him. Alex looked up to the roof of the elevator, and decided to do her best to get that open, and leave through there. It was a tough reach, but she managed, and then pulled herself up through it. She looked up.... And there was a lot of climbing ahead of her.... She couldn't go down because of the elevator itself blocking the way. She also had to find out what was going on all the way up at the top floor. To see if Kara is okay. Alex took a deep breath, knowing that the long climb would be tiring, then she began by putting her hand on the ladder, and started climbing up the shaft.

Lena's Lab

Lena and J'onn went back to her lab. Staying underground wasn't necessarily—ideal. "J'onn, I need to ask you something." Lena walked over to Supergirl's blood sample, which she had abandoned earlier that day.

"What do you need to ask me?" J'onn followed her to the countertop where she stood by the sample. He looked at it, noticing the tests, but not exactly what Lena had gotten from them.

Lena took a quick breath, and turned to J'onn, "Did Supergirl come in contact with the Harun-El at all?" J'onn furrowed his eyebrows, "The same rock we used to separate Sam from Reign."

"The rock that made her lose control of her powers... She told me about it," J'onn mentioned, looking away from Lena as he recalled. "The moment she touched it, she described it like her powers were on overdrive, like they had a mind of their own."

"So she did come in contact with it..," Lena concluded. She gestured to the results for J'onn to see. "I know how Lex did it now..." J'onn turned his head to Lena to listen. "Supergirl must have been split in two when she touched the Harun-El... and Lex somehow knew about it," Lena said in a shaken voice as she shook her head side to side slowly. "He must have found a way to control the other half," she slammed her hand down on the counter in frustration and turned around, leaning her back on the desk.. "And now there's two Supergirls... one who is dying and about to be arrested, and one who is under my psychopathic brother's control, making the world believe Supergirl is evil."
