"How's your leg?" Carl asked, him and Elle sitting on the couch in her house.

Elle mumbled out a vague response, too preoccupied with thinking about what she had learned in the last few hours. Rick and Michonne had returned with some of the others, but not everyone. Abraham and Sasha were still out there. Daryl. Glenn. And Enid was now out there as well. According to Carl, she had left him at the house with nothing but a note saying 'just survive somehow' and after Elle checked every single house in Alexandria, she knew Enid had gone over the walls again. The problem this time was that Alexandria was surrounded on all sides, twenty walkers deep. The group that had tried to redirect the herd had only managed to lose half of them, the horn that blared during the attack ruining their plan.

"Stop worrying," Carl told her, easily being able to read her. "They all can handle themselves. And we'll figure out how to fix this walker problem, we always manage to come up with something."

After planting a kiss on Carl's lips that lasted longer than usual, Elle jumped up, trying to fight the urge to fall asleep. There was a lot of work to be done, and they all had to do their part.

To the two teenagers' disappointment, they were forced to split up. Maggie needed to talk to Elle and asked to do it in private, so Elle tasked Carl with asking around to see if anyone had seen Enid.

Maggie and Elle sat on the porch of their house, both waiting for the other to say something. Maggie had been the one who wanted to talk, but she was too anxious about what Elle's reaction would be to prompt the conversation.

"Okay I have like three guesses on what this could be about so either start talking or I'm gonna start guessing," Elle said. She waited a minute but knew she wasn't getting a response when Maggie would only look out at the sky, not at her.

"Guess one," Elle started off, throwing her leg over the side of the chair to get more comfortable. "You're trying to tell me that you're going after Glenn and you don't know if you'll make it back alive. While I do think you're going to do this, I don't really think you'd be this weird about it. Guess two, you caught me and Carl making out the other day when he may or may not have been wearing a shirt and now you're going to give me the sex talk. While this seems like a conversation you're going to force me to have one day I feel like you'd be fine starting the conversation and this also doesn't seem like the right time."

Although that wasn't what Maggie wanted to talk about, it did catch her attention.

"Oh shit, how old are you?" she asked.

Elle shrugged, "Almost fifteen I think."

"Remind me when this is all over to give you the sex talk," Maggie instructed, Elle hiding her face in her hands while she figured out how to respond to that.
