"Good morning, Reina."

I stared at kuya Anton in awe. Mas tumingkad ang moreno niyang kulay ngayong nasisinagan siya ng araw. Wearing corporate attire really suits him.

"M-Morning.. uhh.. w-what are you doing h-here?" Gosh! Paano kung makita ako ng mga classmates ko? Nina Pierce? Shit! Ni Amiel?

He sighed before picking out his wallet from his back pocket. My lips parted in shock when I saw him handed me a black card.

"W-What is t-this?"

He languidly stared at me as if he find my question ridiculous. "I'm giving you my card."

Uhuh. "W-Why?"

He heaved a deep sigh "So you can buy whatever you want?"

Nanatiling laglag ang panga ko. Why is he doing this? Dad is going to be mad. I'm fucking grounded!

I chuckled nervously "I-It's okay. Don't bother.. I'm o-okay-"

"But you said you want to buy your lunch at the cafeteria?" He twisted his lips and tilted his head to the side. He seemed bored at pilit ulit na inabot sakin ang card.

"Y-Yeah. P-Pero may lunch na a-ako..." stop stuttering!!

I am so flushed right now! Ramdam ko ang pag init ng pisngi at tenga ko! Oh my!

He chuckled. "I can see that. Are you going to eat that, though?"

I immediately shook my head. I don't know why "Definitely... I mean... n-no..."

I heard him sighed before he closed the distance between us. I had to step back because my heart is pounding so hard I thought I have to keep us apart for it to calm down.

"Then take my card. So you can buy whatever you want to eat." Muli niyang inabot sakin ang black card niya.. tempting me to use his money.

"Ahm.. some stores might not accept cards.. c-cash ang kailangan ko."

Really? Really?! Iyan talaga ang tanong mo Ria? That's your issue? Hindi ang kung pwede bang gamitin ang pera niya? At kung bakit ka niya pahihiramin ng card?

His shoulders shook as he chuckled. Halos matulala ako sa ayos niya "Then I'll send you money alright?"

My eyes went down to his card and I can see my lunch bag underneath. I had to close my mouth at baka tumulo pa ang laway ko. My God, too much embarrassment!

"B-but.." I sighed. "May l-lunch na ako." Namamaos kong daing.

"Hmm. You can give it to me, then. In exchange for my card." He said languidly making me look up to him. Sinalubong ako ng namumungay niyang mga mata.

He did it again. Licking his lips while staring at me intently. "I completely understand your father and his way to discipline you. You.. went to a bar without him knowing. He is only thinking about your safety... but I don't want you to think that I'm doing this to tolerate you.. especially you wasting food just because you.. are embarrassed to eat it at school."

Halos sabay kaming mapabuntong hininga. When he said it... tinamaan ako. Halos kilabutan ako sa hiya pero pag kay daddy nagmamatigas ako. Naalala ko ang malungkot na ngiti ni manang Lupe, she's hoping that I'll eat what she have cooked for me today.

He knocked off some senses on me alright.

"But at the same time, I don't want you stressing over lunch, when you can just solely focus on passing your exams."

Halos habulin ko ang aking hininga at mapalinga sa paligid dahil hindi ko matagalan ang paninitig niya sakin. This unfamiliar feeling is making my head hurt to process. I don't understand... everything.
