"Hello." Kuya Anton greeted me when I answered his call. He insisted on calling me pagkatapos kong maligo. Hindi na daw kasi siya nakapagpaalam kaninang umaga dahil madaling araw ang flight niya. Pagkadating ng Spain ay may conference agad silang dinaluhan. Sabi niya ay natulog naman daw siya sa eroplano pero alam kong pagod padin siya. Gosh eighteen hours? Buti nga at hindi sila delayed!

"H-Hi." I smiled but it was short lived as I bit my lip to ease the awkwardness. Ramdam ko tuloy ang daloy ng dugo sa mga pisngi ko. He was outdoors at nasa conference pa siya kaya saglit lang daw siyang tatawag.

Maingay sa background niya at nakita ko siyang lumakad palayo sa venue. "Sorry about that. How was your day?" He asked.

"F-Fine. Not sure with my scores in business math but.. I think I d-did fine."

I saw him nodded and stared at me intently kaya lalo akong naconscious. I am in my pajamas while he is wearing a white dress shirt  and a suit. The upper buttons of his dress shirt are undone exposing some skin.

"Yes you did. You will pass that one, Reina." Tipid siyang ngumiti tapos noon.

I am twisting my lips dahil hindi ko alam ang sasabihin! Idagdag pa na pinapanood niya ako!

"Uhh-"

"So-" My eyes widened for a fraction when I heard him spoke at the same time!

"Sorry. You go first." He said hoarsely.

Agad akong umiling. "Uhh wala... wala akong.. s-sasabihin.."

He sighed before he craned his neck to his left and nodded at someone. Muli siyang tumingin sa cellphone at bumuntong hininga.

He grazed his lips with his tongue and my eyes suddenly focused on that. "I saw your stories on facebook. You had another group activity?"

"Hmmm... yeah.." I said.. not completely comprehending his question. I forgot to blink and just stared at his.. lips on the screen.

His lips pursed as he exhaled deeply. "Was it.. done by pair again?"

Saan daw? "Huh... mmm.."

"Was it my..." he let out another heavy sigh. "How was the activity?" Kita ko ang pagkibot ng labi niya sa screen. His growing stubble looked.. fine. He look so... mature... and manly.. Walang siyang ganoon nung nakaraan. Gaano ba kabilis tumubo iyong ganon?

Halos mahigop ko ang ibabang labi sa paraan ng pagkagat. I wonder what he used on his lips? What lipbalm was it? Mine were never pinkish like that.

"Reina?"

"Hmm?" Napakurap akong nagangat ng tingin sa mata niya.. bago muling bumaba sa mga labi niyang tanaw ko padin sa screen.

"Sorry.. w-what did you s-say?" Gosh! What was I thinking?

His lips parted and his eyes became heavy lidded. Maingay sa background niya pero nahahagip ng tenga ko ang mabigat niyang paghinga.

I saw him licked his lips once again and I took another glance bago muling tinuon ang mata sa camera ko. Sadyang napapatingin lang ako doon. Damn it! His lips are curving to a smile but he seems hiding it.

"I'm asking.. how was your group activity? Sino ang kagrupo mo?"

"Ahm.. okay naman.. sina Pierce at Andra.. s-saka si K-Kate ang kagroup ko."

My brows furrowed when I saw his lips part again for another exhale. It's so audible it almost sounded that of a relief. Kusa ding napaawang ang labi ko sa nakita.

"Are you hot?" He asked languidly.

"Huh?" Halos manlaki ang mata ko sa narinig. Bakit? Ano daw? No! Of course not!
