"Stay here." Diego said as he parked.
"Okay."
"Really? You're not going to fight me?"
"No...if you wanna get arrested get arrested. I just came along to make sure they still weren't shooting and you didn't try to bring a knife to a gun fight." Talia smiled at the man.
"How sweet."
"Have fun in jail." She waved as he went into the doughnut shop.

"This is a once in a blue moon type of situation, I'd say." Detective patch said as he looked around the doughnut shop.
"I'm inclined to agree." Another detective agreed.
"Same gun on every Vic, all M4s. All the casings are .223s. Know what I think? I think these idiots shot each other."
"And stabbed. One in the throat, one in the eye, and this guy got his neck snapped. All quick and efficient kills."
"These guys were definitely professionals. Dumb. But professionals. Any witnesses?"
"Yes. One. It happened during her shift."
"We'll that's lousy luck. Ma'am, I'm detective Patch." He said walking over to the poor, now traumatized, older woman.
"Hi, Agnes. Agnes Rofa. Oh, I don't know, did you want a last name?"
"I'll take it if you'll give it. Did you see what happened here?"
"No, not exactly."
"Let's start at the top."
"Well, it was- it was a slow night. It was quiet. My last two customers were this older guy and- and his kid. The guy had a dough- no, that's not right. The guy had an éclair, the kid had- had coffee. I went into the the back room...to just get some more change. But then I heard his truck start up. They drove away. I heard shots. And by the time I got back in here...everyone was...was, you know..." she said, her voice cracking as she relived the incident.
"Was there anyone else in the shop?"
"No, I-I don't think so. I'm sorry not to be rude, cause you seem super sweet, but...do I have to go through all this again?"
"Again?"
"Well, I already told the other detective everything."
"What other detective?"

Diego walked out of the back of the doughnut shop and immediately saw patch. "Shit. Lemme j-" he was cut off by detective patch jamming a taser into his chest.
"You don't talk to my witnesses, understand?" Patch said as he led Diego to a police car.
"Let me catch you up to speed, Eudora."
"Don't call me that."
"Right, detective patch. What, are we gonna keep things professional?"
"I don't know if we ever agreed on much."
"We agreed on something's."
"Did we really, though?" He said before taking the police radio from Diego. "I'm confiscating this."
"Military surplus, practically giving them away."
"And this."
"No skin, super cheap, bought it on eBay." He said as patch too his fake detective badge.
