Hope's P. O. V:

Warm sunlight streams in through the crack in my curtains the next morning, as I wake up in my mate's arms, my head on his chest. I blink my eyes open and lift my head to see a still serious yet more content expression on his features.

I smile to myself as I reach out to stroke his cheek. Alec had agreed to let Sting and Rogue stay with us for the night so they wouldn't have to go back so late.

Obviously Rogue is sleeping in my bed while Sting has the guest bedroom.

Rogue's eyes flutter open and a smile tugs at his lips when he sees I'm awake. "Good morning," He murmurs before nuzzling into my neck, my silver hair that's messy from sleep.

"Mm, 'morning," I respond, hugging him back. He's in his usual outfit but without his boots, socks and cape. I was in my pyjamas I wore while staying at his apartment.

"Sting and I have to go back today," Rogue mumbles into my neck, making me pout.

"Do you have to?"

"Well, I could see if Sting will let me stay longer so you and I could have a lunch date?" Rogue suggests, pulling back to look at me.

I smile at the prospect as I nod my head. "A lunch date sounds good! Couod we go to my favourite sushi place in Magnolia?"

Chuckling, the Cheney tells me, "We can go wherever you want, My Hope."

I feel warmth spread in my heart before I lean forward and we kiss a few times. I thread my fingers through his hair and give it a tug, which earns me a low growl in response.

I tug his hair again and giggle when Rogue flips me onto my back, risking into the kiss again. Rogue breaks the kiss for air and I see lust in his crimson orbs, along with love and passion.

I bring him back down for another kiss and our lips press tenderly against one another...

"Good morning, Rogue, Hope," A sleepy voice chimes, causing Rogue and I to jerk apart. He flops back down beside me and we lean on our elbows to see Frosch is awake and sitting up while rubbing sleep from his eyes.

I smile softly after overcoming my initial surprise as I return, "'Morning, little guy." The Shadow Dragon Slayer chimes his own good morning.

"What's for breakfast?" Asks Frosch.

"I'm not sure," I reply honestly. "Why don't you go and see if Alec is up and get him started with breakfast?"

Frosch nods as he spreads his white wings and says, "Okay." Then he flies out of my bedroom.

I let out a sigh of relief as I turn back to Rogue. I mumble, "Guess that means we have to get up now."

He nods while agreeing, "So it seems. We can continue some other time."

I agree and Rogue quickly puts the rest of his outfit on before running his fingers through his own messy hair and then leaving so I may get dressed in private.

I sigh and climb out of bed before I find out my clothes. I slip them on.

My outfit consists of a three quarter length white blouse with a purple bow and skirt that has a white embroidery of roses along the hem, and around my neck is a green pointy crystal. I wear white nice looking brown boots with thigh high white socks. I quickly run a brush through my silver hair before I head downstairs for breakfast.

Alec was at the stove, flipping what looks to be pancakes and Rogue and Erza were at the table

Alec was at the stove, flipping what looks to be pancakes and Rogue and Erza were at the table. The redhead was playing with Frosch with a pudding expression on her features.

She'd stayed over in Alec's room last night as he'd offered her, while the others went back to their own homes.

"'Morning," I say as I sit next to my mate.

"Oh, good morning, Hope," Greets Erza as she briefly looks up from the green Exceed, and Alec glances at me from the stove.

"I see you're having fun with Frosch, there," I say with a slight tease.

Blushing, she responds, stammering slightly, "Oh, um, well... I, uh..."

"She's hardly left him alone since he came into the kitchen," Rogue deadpans.

"Well... he's just so cute!" She gushes, cuddling the green Exceed more.

"... not that I really mind," Mumblesthe crimson eyed man as we exchange smiles. Stay wanders into the dining room, yawning while rubbing his eyes, Lector walking in behind him.

"'Morning, what's for breakfast?" Asks the blonde as he poops down opposite me and Lector gets up on the table.

"Pancakes," Alec responds before flipping another.

"Yum! Can't wait," Says Sting excitedly. He looks to Rogue. "I have to head back to the guild hall after this."

"Do you mind if I stay longer?" Asks Rogue, switching his gaze to Sting. "I want to take Hope-chan on a lunch date."

"Sure, I don't mind," Responds the Eucliffe with a grin.

"Thanks."

The pancakes were soon served and they were delicious as usual, being cooked by my own brother. Afterwards, Sting went to say goodbye to Natsu before he went back to Sabertooth.

Rogue and I watch the lacrima tv for most of the day and when it was around 12: 30, he takes me to my favourite sushi restaurant. Frosch is with us. We eat a delicious lunch while we chat contentedly.

As we leave and walk around for awhile, Rogue and I spot a flower stand on the street. He tells me to wait and goes over to it. When Rogue returns, he holds out a beautiful bluebell, my favourite flower.

"I remember you once told me this was your favourite," Says Rogue, holding it out to me

"I remember you once told me this was your favourite," Says Rogue, holding it out to me.

I take it and sniff its pleasant scent.

Smiling, I say appreciatively, "It's beautiful, Roguey. Thank you."

I lean forward and kiss his cheek before I thread my arm with his and we continue walking on our date.
