Part 2: Shadows of Magic (Rogue Cheney X OC)

Chapter 53

Hope's P. O. V:

I lie naked under the sheets with my mate late one night, who's also naked after we'd gone a few rounds (with protection, of course), my head on his chest with my hand resting on it, a content expression on my features, his arm around my waist as he plays with my longer silver hair.

A year has passed since the war with Tartaros and Fairy Tail disbanded. My silver hair has grown longer past my tailbone.

Alec and I have found our own apartment with a few rooms, but he's agreed to let Rogue stay over sometimes, like tonight. Other times I'll stay at his apartment. Frosch is currently in Alec's room. He stays there whenever Rogue comes over and we make out like this.

Alec has noticed I'm happier if I'm with my mate.

Alec has lost contact with Erza six months ago, and he's been miserable since.

I've been worried about him.

I let out a sigh.

Rogue asks softly, his arm around my waist, "What is it, Hope-chan?"

I murmur, "I was just thinking about Fairy Tail... it's been a year since everyone went out on their own and I wonder where they all are. Alec has been miserable since Erza stopped writing to him... I'm worried."

"I'm sure your brother will be fine soon, and that he'll get to see Erza again one day," Rogue murmurs, playing with a strand of my silver hair.

"I hope so. I hate seeing him like this. Nothing I've done has cheered him up." I sigh into Rogue's bare chest. He strikes my hair soothingly. I look up at him. "Can we do it again?"

He blinks at me as he asks, "Again? Didn't we do it a few times already?"

"Yes, but I'd like to do it again. It'll be fine, Roguey. We do have protection, remember?"

Rogue ponders for a second before nodding. He then flips us over so he's lying on top of me. I feel him play with my slick folds and my nub for awhile and my body shudders with anticipation.

The next morning, Rogue has organised us to go on a job with Alec and Minerva.

I have a shower and get dressed after breakfast and brushing my teeth.

My new work attire consists of a long sleeved dress that has the same colour scheme of magenta as my first work attire from the year X784, while retaining the skirt and some thematic elements from that year as well. My silvery white hair that has purple ends is in a ponytail and I wear gothic "Eye of Horus" styled eye makeup and golden earrings. My dark-purple boots are also heeled again.

I also have on my hands black fingerless gloves that stop below my elbows.

Satisfied with my appearance, I strap my Charmbag to my right waist and head out to meet my brother and Rogue.

Alec wears a long sleeved black shirt with his black trench coat over it, the buttons undone but there's a split in the back of the hem. He wears black pants and heeled knee high boots. Alec also wears black full fingered gloves that stop at his wrists.
