Lore: Kisuke Urahara was the former member of Squad 2 as he had been promoted to Captain of Squad 12 before being exiled for false charges of Hollowfication Experiments done to other members of the 13 Court Guard Squads, Kisuke had to go on the run with his fellow exile Tensei as well as Yoruichi who helped break them out from their sentence and begun to hide in the human world.
Kisuke opened up a candy shop as a front while hiding the truth of himself while thinking up plans and ideas to stop Sosuke Aizen and his plans, during 100 Years of planning and creating, he finally found a way by a woman named Rukia Kuchiki who lost her powers giving them to Ichigo, he created a Gigai and hidden half of the Hogyoku in that gigai for Rukia, but she was captured and Kisuke feared that the Hogyoku would be taken by Aizen so he helped Ichigo to try and get her back only to save her in the end except Aizen had taken the Hogyoku from within her soul and escaped, prompting the beginning of the Winter Wars.

Casters greatest invention was called the Hogyoku which was a mystical item that originally should allow Kisuke to break the boundaries between Soul Reapers and Hollows, which is what exactly happened for Kisuke to save the lives of his friends while they were being inflicted with Hollowfication but it wasn't the exact detail to allow them to survive, The Hogyoku's true power was Desire Materialization and it was Kisukes Desire to save his friends to materialize and the very object that Aizen wanted to obtain a level to become the next Soul King.
Kisuke can very well recreate the Hogyoku but very very persistent that he couldn't due to numerous bad memories due to Sosuke Aizen, and will require a Command Seal or even Two to force him to create it again.
