Freminet was frozen in place, the piercing purple eyes of hatred from both Lynette and Lyney stabbing him in his little heart. "Lyney?", he managed to squeak out, tears forming in his tiny eyes as he gripped to his big brother's arm, afraid of letting go.

His big brother tried to shake him off his arm, becoming more angry by the second. With Freminet knowing he's making it worse, which makes him want to stay to try and calm him down. "Get away from me!!" Lyney yelled, voice full of hatred and dislike. This was the last straw. Tears were now flowing from the baby brother's face, Freminet was full of fear and sadness. Lyney has never, ever shown any sort of anger or frustration towards him. He was scared. He was upset.

Lyney continued, each word digging deeper into the young boy's heart, "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, WE DON'T LOVE YOU, WE NEVER DID!!". Freminet glanced to his sister, Lynette usually sticks up for him, however this time, she fully turned around whilst holding Lyney's arm. Her back now facing Freminet's face. She whispered to Lyney and looked back at Freminet, eyes now red and puffy from the harsh tears that decorated his face from the painful words of his brother.

*THUD...*

Lyney was now high above Freminet. The pain in his back erupted and the pain on his cheek was even worse. Like a fire spreading throughout his body. He looked up, through watery eyes, his eyes met the eyes of his brother. He was walking away with Lynette.

Each step echoed in his ears. He was being abandoned. Freminet used all his strength and tried to follow his siblings, however, they were long gone. He was alone. They left him in the orphanage. Alone.

"FREMINET!" "FREMI WAKE UP!!". A young boy's voice cried, voice full of worry. Freminet quickly opened his eyes, still affected by what he just experienced: he was met with his big boy lamp switched on, dried tears melted into his cheeks, and the extremely scared look on his big brother and big sister's faces.

Lynette's face slowly faded from concerned to relaxed as she relaxed her posture and stood next to her twin. Lyney's face didn't change. Lyney's face was still full of unchanging worry and fear, before Freminet knew it, he was quickly pulled into a hug.

"I-I heard you c-crying and I-I was...I was s-so worried", Lyney managed to whisper. Immediately after he said that, all the fear that once tainted Freminet's heart was washed away. However, he kept quiet and just wanted reassurance... reassurance that he was loved and cared for.

After a while of silence, Freminet whispered..."N-n-nightmare", voice still filled of sadness and some tears starting to form in his eyes. Lyney retracted from the hug and just sat on his bed quietly..."what happened Fremi?".

"Y-you and Lyn-Lynette were a-angry a-a-and you...y-you bo-both said y-you d-d-didn't...yo-u d-d-didn't lo...lo-ve me" Freminet said, tears now rapidly flowing down his face, like the rain in Inazuma. Lynette and Lyney commented nothing. They were both shocked. Shocked and upset over the fact that Freminet dreamed about them both not loving him.

Lynette walked over to Freminet, his face now completely red and fresh tears rolling down his cheeks, covering the marks of his old ones. She tilted his face up and quietly dabbed at his cheeks and held his tiny hand. She glanced over at Lyney, signalling something, which made Lyney walk towards the small nightstand and pick up Freminet's penguin plushie and give it to him, all in silence.

Guilt filled the souls of both Lyney and Lynette, guilt that they both were in Freminet's nightmare. They were afraid that he was doubting their love to him. They both loved him with all their hearts, they'd do anything to see him happy. Finally, Lyney broke the silence...

"Alright, budge up Fremi" he chuckled whilst giving the small child a playful push. Freminet looked at him, face transformed with confusion. Lynette let out a small giggle, watching Freminet's face turn from sadness to confusion. "Don't worry, big brother will protect you from all the nightmares" Lyney said, with a laughable amount of confidence.

Freminet let out a genuine laugh and moved over to make space for his older brother. Lyney tucked them both in and immediately squeezed his younger brother into a tight hug. Lyney leaned closer to Freminet' and again, whispered, "you know that both me and big sister love you, much more than you'll ever understand". Freminet gave a nod in response, looking over at Lynette, watched her to see if she agreed with what Lyney has said.

Lynette let out a smile and nodded gently before walking over and turning off his big boy lamp near the bed. Turning the small room pitch black, scaring Freminet a little. He was scared until he felt his cheek being stroked, "I'm here, remember, I'll protect you" Lyney spoke quietly.

"Oh, Lynette, before you go-" Lyney started. A chuckle came from the darkness, with Lynette responding "okay, I'll stay with you both". Freminet, half asleep, felt his blanket lift and fall down simultaneously and the presence of a familiar girl next to him. He felt protected. He felt loved.

And Freminet had a feeling that it was going to stay that way for a long, long time
