Aditya's pov

"I want your best team of cardiologists to reach Udaipur in the next four hours," I said straightforwardly. I took a deep breath to calm myself, but inside, turmoil swirled as I struggled to keep my composure.

I called my manager. "Mr. Kumar, I've talked to them. Make arrangements for the doctors. Book flight tickets, I want them here within four hours" I instructed, my voice sharp and urgent.

"Yes, sir" he replied from the other end. I hung up and glanced toward the operation theatre. Two doctors were inside while another two stepped out.

"I need to have a meeting with you" I said, my tone cold and hoarse. "I've instructed my manager to book the flight tickets, and the doctors are arriving from Delhi in four hours." They nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation, and quickly made arrangements for the meeting.

"This way , Prince" One doctor said while showing me the way , Mr Choudhary followed me.

Suhani's Pov

I was driving home after finishing my shift at the hospital, feeling the weight of the day on my shoulders. "Oh no, I'm late again. I hope the patients are doing well" I murmured to myself, reminding myself to check on them before heading home.

My neck was aching, and I sighed. "I think I need a massage" I said under my breath. It had been a hectic day—I assisted in two surgeries with Mr. Sharma and performed one on my own.

Thankfully, all three surgeries went well, which brought me a sense of relief.

After two long years of constant hard work , Mr. Sharma finally recognized my capabilities enough to allow me to assist him. He was a tremendous inspiration to me, my mentor and idol since I became a doctor. He had a flawless record of thirty years, never losing a patient on the operating table. Respected and honored in our community, many looked up to him, including me.

Now, finally being recognized by him felt like a significant achievement, filling me with pride and happiness.

After 30 minutes

I arrived at the hospital and parked my car hurriedly. As I walked inside, Sister Avika greeted me warmly. I returned the greeting and quickly checked on the patients, relieved to find everything was fine. Just as I was about to head to the next room, I heard a chorus of voices singing:"Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday to you... Happy Birthday... Happy Birthday... Happy Birthday to you... 🎼"

My eyes widened in shock as the realization hit me, today was my birthday! How could I forget? My heart raced, and tears welled up in my eyes. I turned to Sister Avika, who was beaming with joy as she approached me for a hug.

I embraced her tightly, the warmth of her gesture making the moment even more special. Overwhelmed with emotions, I started to cry. It was a mix of joy and gratitude, knowing that my colleagues remembered and celebrated me, even when I had completely forgotten my own special day.

"Shh, my child, why are you crying on your special day?" she said, gently caressing my back. After hugging her for a good two minutes, I finally pulled away.
