Suhani's Pov
"Haan, Suhani, bataiye" he replied.
(yeah tell me suhani)
I took a deep breath and asked, "Kya aapne meri jaan bachane ke liye mujhse shaadi ki?" His face went pale with shock at my sudden question. I looked at him, hoping for an answer, and saw a flicker of sadness in his eyes.
(Did you marry me to save me?)
Finally, I asked him what I had been wanting to know. He suddenly looked at me with such softness in his eyes that it made me feel something I couldn't quite explain.
"Suhani , achanak se ye savaal kaise?" he said, making me feel confused. Is he trying to avoid my question?
(Suhani, suddenly, why this question?)
"No , Mr Rathore , It's not a sudden question , but I came to know that someone is trying to harm me, that's why I wanted to ask, is that true?" I asked and he sighed , he took my hand in his and caressed it softly . I didn't oppose to his touch , i don't know why?....but whenever he touches me , I don't feel uncomfortable , It doesn't feel awkward or wrong . It never did.
"Suhani, I won't deny it. There is someone trying to harm you, but I promise I'll find out who it is soon," he explained. "I know your life has changed drastically since coming here. I have many business rivals, so it could be one of them or someone else. I can't blame anyone without evidence, but as soon as I have proof, I won't spare them. My team is already working on it. Once you get better, you can go to Delhi and live your life normally"
My stomach sank at the thought of going to Delhi. Just three days ago, I wanted so badly to leave, but now, the idea of leaving him felt so difficult. What is happening to me?
"Y-Yeah" I replied and he nodded slowly.
"So, enjoyed the ice cream?" He asked with a cheerful smile , I smile back and nodded.
"Yes, but tell me one thing... how come you've changed so much in the last few days? It feels kind of new and strange" I asked, my curiosity getting the better of me.
Aditya's Pov
"It happens when you are in love , you just want to be the better person . the best version of yourself for the person you love , and it happened when you came into my life , I kept denying it but now I know why" I thought in my head and smiled.
