Suhani's pov
As I looked around the living area, my eyes landed on Mr. Rathore, and just as I caught his gaze, he subtly turned his head towards me. My heart skipped a beat, and I quickly looked away, feeling a strange sensation run up my neck. I tried to focus on everything happening around me, but my thoughts kept drifting back to him, and I hated how he affected me like that.
Dadisa sat on the couch across from us, watching Princess Tara and Mr. Rathore chat. I noticed how she seemed pleased with their light-hearted interaction.
Attendees bustled around, setting up a table filled with snacks and drinks. Their chatter filled the room, but I barely heard them over the loud pounding of my heart. We listened to Princess Tara and Dadisa as they reminisced about good times together.
"Dadisa, Mom and Dad sent these gifts! They said they'll be visiting Udaipur soon" Princess Tara said with a warm smile.
Dadisa's face lit up at Tara's words. "Shashank and Riddhi are very kind to send such lovely gifts. I'm sure they'll enjoy their visit to Udaipur" she replied, smiling gratefully.
Mr. Rathore, who had been quiet until then, added "Yes, I hope Uncle and Aunty will enjoy their time here."
Princess Tara nodded eagerly. "Yes" she said as we all took sips of our tea.
"Adi, do you remember that tree house in the backyard? Is it still there?" Princess Tara asked. He nodded and replied, "it's still there."
"We'll definitely visit there!" Princess Tara said happily.
"Oh my God, is there really a tree house?" Ahana asked, her voice full of excitement. Krish tapped her on the head to get her attention.
"Looks like someone is super excited" Dadisa commented, lightly patting Ahana's head.
Everyone, even the usually serious Mr. Rathore, smiled at the scene.
"So, after dinner, we'll all explore it, what do you say?" Princess Tara suggested, and we all nodded in agreement.
"Tara, go and take some rest, dear" Dadisa advised, and Princess Tara nodded in understanding.
"Ji, Dadisa" Princess Tara said as she left the room.
"Dadisa, it's already 10 o'clock! Time for your medicines" I reminded her, and she nodded.
"Let me take you to your room" I offered, and she agreed.
But suddenly, Dadisa stumbled. Before she could fall, Mr. Rathore and I quickly grabbed her hands, preventing her from hitting the ground.
Our eyes met, both of us worried.
"Are bacchon, hum theek hain" Dadisa said with a chuckle, trying to reassure us.
