                                                              Suhani's pov

"Mr. Rathore, you're here? Is everything okay? What happened?" I asked, surprised as he entered my room. There was a tension in the air, I glanced up from my work, sensing that something was off. He didn't respond immediately, which made me frown in confusion.

"Mr. Rathore, You seem worried" I asked again, noticing the concern on his face and the slight tremor in his voice. He walked towards me quickly, sighing heavily, running a hand through his hair in frustration.

"Dr. Suhani, I need to discuss something very important with you" he said, and for some reason, my heart started to race. A sinking feeling hit my chest, like something bad was about to happen.I sat up straighter in my chair, concern growing inside me. "What is it?" I asked, my mind racing with possibilities.

"Here, have some water" I offered, trying to calm him down, but the tension in his expression didn't fade. There was an urgency about him that felt unlike anything I'd seen before. Then, suddenly, his expression changed into something strange, leaving me utterly confused.

"I want to marry you" he said. The moment those words left his mouth, I felt like the ground had slipped from beneath me. My heart started pounding, and I couldn't believe what he had just said.

Time seemed to freeze as the weight of his words hit me. I struggled to process what had just happened, my heart racing and my mind spinning. How could he ask me this? What about Tara, Dadisa, and her family? I didn't know what to say, overwhelmed by uncertainty and disbelief.

My thoughts spun as I tried to understand his sudden confession. It felt like everything around me faded away while I searched for the right words. Time seemed to stop , With shaky hands and a racing heart, I finally managed to speak, my voice barely a whisper. I looked into his eyes, dark and mysterious like a midnight forest.

"What?!" I said, filled with disbelief. He moved closer, just an inch away, making my heart race even faster. I hoped he was joking, but his serious expression told me he wasn't.

"How could you even think of this, Mr. Rathore?" I stammered, my voice shaky with confusion and disappointment. I was trying to stay calm, but my hurt was clear in my words.

I couldn't believe how we had reached this moment, how our professional relationship had suddenly changed. It felt like the ground beneath me had shifted.

"Dr. Suhani, hear me out before you make a decision" he said, studying my face. I huffed in disbelief.

"What's left to understand, Mr. Rathore? How dare you ask me that?" I shouted, my anger bursting forth like a dam breaking. Frustration filled the air, Just as I opened my mouth to speak again, he suddenly covered my mouth with his hand, catching me off guard. Shock froze me as he swiftly closed the door, shutting us off from the outside.

We stood in silence, the tension thick between us. The room felt smaller, the walls closing in on our emotions. His intense gaze met mine, full of urgency.
