𝐌𝐎𝐊𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐑
A whole day spent on training, no signals of Pythor or anything. My day couldn't have started better with a wonderful morning where I woke up and had the BIGGEST headache ever. Honestly, I wanted to die all that time.
I sat down on the stairs that lead to the upper deck, watching the others train with fake serpent robots as I, from time to time, had a small conversation with Nya — Poor her, she spent the whole morning listening to me complain. The only one that was missing was Kai. Now why am I not training? Oh, it's simple. Nya wanted to evaluate the force of their powers since they achieved their True Potential. Normally, I wouldn't have cared, but as more time goes, more doubts settle in.
My mind only replays one question over and over again;
What is holding me back from my True Potential?
''Earth!'' Cole yells while swinging his scythe on the ground — causing a small earthquake and the machine to fall down.
Another copy of a Venomari stays still while Jay rotates his nunchucks. He dashes at the dummy and uses his Spinjitzu while screaming.
''Lightning!'' He howls, deviating his weapon — hitting the side of the head of the snake.
Zane lifts his hands up, receiving his shurikens. He stares at the faux Serpentine.
''Ice!'' He yelps while doing a backflip before throwing his weapons at the feet of the copy — frosting from down to up the figure.
A warm glow lightens the deck as Nya is right behind the spotlight. ''Good training. Your powers are getting stronger!'' She exclaims with a big smile on her face before taking a quick glance at me. ''But where's Kai?'' The black haired girl looks around.
''I don't know, I haven't seen him recently.'' I respond while shrugging and also gazing around to find any hint of presence of the spiky haired boy.
''I think I saw him head downstairs. He told me that he had a thing to take care of.'' Jay remembers, pulling his hood off.
''And you waited until now to tell us?'' Cole asks, raising an eyebrow at my brother.
''Well, I thought he'd be back by now!'' The Blue Ninja defends himself.
Nya passes by me as they all start to make their way downstairs — except for Zane and I. He gazes at me with question marks in his eyes. I get up and start to follow the others.
As I move next to him, he puts his hand on my shoulder. His grip isn't strong or tight, it is rather gentle and careful.
''Moki, I sense that your attitude has slightly changed from yesterday. Is there something on your mind? If it is the case, I'd love to help you out.'' He questions, his head toward me.
