Horns echoed in the distance as the group approached the camp. Everyone each held their heads low in regret. Most notably Lloyd due to the events that had happened just an hour ago.

Dr. Julien came outside to greet us. "What was that sound? The horns?" He asked, looking around with concern.

Sensei Wu stepped in, placing a hand behind his back. "The Celestial Clock has reached zero. Garmadon's Ultimate Weapon is now operational," this sentence made Lloyd look down at the ground once again, "and the Final Battle between good and evil has all, but begun."

Misako joined the blondie's side, placing a hand on his back. "Now Lloyd must face his father."

The white haired man glanced at all of us, his brows furrowed in confusion when he remarked that someone was missing. "But where's Nya?" He asked in concern for the girl's wellbeing.

This only caused us to dampen at the mention of her. Kai and Jay lowered their heads, sorrow crawling up their spines. I placed my hands on both of their backs, staring at the two with empathy.

Sensei Wu sighed and trailed his head down. "She's been taken by the Overlord, but we'll get her back. At the moment, there are bigger things at stake, including all of Ninjago itself."

That was enough to send Jay to go ballistic. He shrugged my hand off of him, pulled up his hood and took heavy steps towards our mentor. "Who cares about Ninjago?! Nya was my— uh, my..." He stumbled over his words, not finding a word to describe their still non-exclusive relationship. "You know.."

It was now Kai's turn to shrug my hand off of him — I retracted it as he made his way to Jay, placing his hand on my brother's shoulder and removing his hood. "And she is my sister." He said while the rest of us pulled up our hoods. "I know her being captured is tough, but she's tougher. Tougher than most of us. We'll see her again."

Our mentor huffed, rotating his head to the devastated blonde, who met his eyes. "Lloyd, your focus gives strength to invoking the Power of the Golden Dragon. You cannot lose faith now. Everything rests on your shoulders."

Lloyd furrowed his brows. "But, Sensei, you saw what happened when I tried to face my father. I— I froze." He dropped his shoulders, lowering his gaze. "I can't fight him."

"You must. It is written in the scrolls."

Misako approached her son, placing her hand on his back — which caused him to turn and look at her. "Remember, your father is just as scared."

Wu gave her a firm nod as she removed her hand from her child, "Then the battle will be decided by who is willing to fight."

I quietly made my way to him, putting my hand on the top of his head and messing a little with his blonde hair. "You are the light in a world of darkness. I'll have your back and be the shadow of your gleam."
