The sun arose, painting the sky orange before it faded into a light blue. The distant sound of the waves hitting against rocks, a calm and comforting environment. The familiar scenery was gorgeous to see, but in all honesty, I didn't think we would have gone back to this place so soon. The soft breeze hitting my face, I found it refreshing, and for the first time in a long time, I felt at ease.

"You seem to be troubled, Moki." A voice suddenly appeared, making me look over my shoulder, seeing Garmadon approaching. "Why aren't you with the others? They're getting themselves ready to start."

As he stood beside me, he also took in the decor of the horizon. I let out a faint chuckle, gawking back ahead of me. "It's rather the opposite actually, I haven't felt so peaceful since— well, since the very start of this. Either way, this is how I get myself to be ready. It's serene and I can think without any difficulties."

"You have a lot on your mind, don't you?" The elderly man questioned, placing a hand on my shoulder. All I could do was nod at his question, letting out a huff, in which he responded with a hum. "I could tell. You're about to be given a very powerful gift, even if I personally think it's a foolish decision."

"Yeah, and about that... What if after I get it, I become like corrupted or something? What if I suddenly became all evil and fought against the team, against my own brother?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around my stomach, turning my head to gaze in his direction.

"I'm certain it won't be the case." Was his response. Before I could speak again, he beat me to it by continuing. "You know who you are. You know what you want to become."

"How can you be so sure? Not only did Sensei once tell me that whatever happens I shall not let the darkness consume me due to the huge power I'd receive, but the Overlord himself told me that my power could cause chaos, a lot of chaos." I snapped, aware that I shouldn't be lashing out on him, but the feeling was too strong to fight. "Plus, apparently all my ancestors, everyone who had my so-called 'gift', were evil? Weren't they? How can you be so sure I won't become like them? How can I be so sure of that?"

I stopped in my vent, taking a deep breath. As I was about to apologize, I took notice of his reaction, which confused me a little. He stared at me, his expression neutral, leaving me to believe that he wasn't affected by the slightest of my rant. He stayed silent, seemingly waiting to have confirmation that I had finished talking.

"You needed to get that off your chest, didn't you?" He asked, his tone almost comedic. I sent him a deadpanned look, which in response he shrugged his shoulders, placing his hands behind his back before speaking once more. "You are not your ancestors, Moki," Garmadon said calmly. "Each generation is different. The choices they made were theirs alone, and the choices you make will be yours. Your fears are understandable, but remember, power doesn't inherently make someone good or evil. It's how you use it."
