Oh, how time seems to be infinite stuck in here.
We had already exited the atmosphere and everything felt a lot more lighter already. The little compartment we were in had a small window and Jay was hogging the view. We were floating in zero gravity by now, moving slowly in all possible directions, having little control over our movements. From a small hunch, I'm assuming we made it into space. Everyone was just floating around and getting a taste of the zero gravity.
I wiggled my arms in every possible way, trying to control my off-ground wandering — the results were miserably unsuccessful. But I didn't seem to be the only one to suck at this since the other guys weren't doing so great with this whole situation — bringing me some relief. Unlike the rest of us, my brother looked as if he had done this a dozen times already, he swam in the air all calm — arms behind his head and swinging his legs only a little to control his movements.
The most thrilling thing to do here was to dodge random items that also hovered around the cabin we were in. I don't know how Jay did to avoid every single objects while each and everyone hit something from time to time. Either way, ever since the little accident back on earth, with the not-so badass entry of my power, I felt tired — as if it had drained each ounce of energy I had left in my body. I was already a bit more slow since I didn't really get a single good sleep with a good amount of hours in a long time, but it was livable — now I had to almost force myself to stay awake for the sake of the mission. Everytime I accidentally collide with something, it didn't really rise a reaction out of me, I just let myself get hit by it.
But it wasn't all so bad, my headache from earlier had finally disappeared!... yayy.
"Is this the greatest thing or what?" Jay asked while waving his arms in circles, only backwards, seeming so relaxed.
"Where are you? We're trapped in space and you— Where did you go?" Kai questioned in a confused tone that sounded like he was scolding the other brunette, not fully understanding what kind of trip he was experiencing.
"Guys! We're in space!" My brother chimed. One would first think that he was way too excited to be actually genuine, but when you lived with him for about fifteen years, you knew that he was in an absolute thrill despite the other not-so-great aspects of the situation. He chuckled, walking on the spot(or air, for that matter) but pivoting, like a wheel. "I thought this is stuff only Fritz Donnegan gets to enjoy!"
Lloyd was having none of it. He seemed to be the one that struggled the most at the whole zero gravity thing. Giving up on trying to control his movements, he sent a look in Jay's direction. "Fritz is from a comic book, dude. This is real!"
