Leaning against one of Borg's counters, I crossed my arms over my chest, turning my head in the direction of the window. I let out a sigh as I observed how dead, how trashed the streets were — no citizens in sight, nothing, just random debris who were getting pushed by the wind. It was just a boring sight to see.
I rotated my head back towards the group, which were placed in a certain circle. While Cyrus Borg was busy with the computer, everyone had their lips shut, the latest revelations weighing down on each of us. Even Jay, a literal motormouth, was plunged in silence — an estimation of how bad the situation actually was. We just didn't have anything to discuss.
Seeing Pixal walking in the direction of her superior, we focused on the scenery before us — not as if we had anything else to do. The assistant stopped in her steps right beside her creator, using her hand to press against the region of her chest as if to open something. Borg took out a cable, pulling on the cord before plugging it in the android.
Zane walked over to see how his girlfriend was doing. Despite his back being turned to us, with the smile Pixal had on her face when she looked back at him, he was also grinning. A few beeps emerged in response to the connection. The inventor tilted to the side, observing with a smirk what had caused the sound.
Gripping a metal plate with a red button placed right on top of the material, he advanced a little farther from the computer he had recently used — a wire following the bright colored bud. "I think we should put the main switch over here to keep it tucked away a little." He mumbled, grabbing a screwdriver to fix the inside of a wire — which caused the main computers to activate. "With a little ingenuity and a few more coaxial cables, we may be able to reboot the system with the Techno Blades and erase the Digital Overlord for good."
Walking closer to the scenery, Jay just did a few more steps to pass through the group before speaking up, eyebrow uplifting. "I thought you said we needed the stolen hard drive to do that."
Borg tilted his head to the side, gesturing some kind of nod while he continued to mess with the cord. "I did. But that was before I truly understood the entire capabilities of what Zane's powers truly allow us."
Kai leaned in, getting in front of my brother to see what the inventor was exactly doing. "And what is that?"
"A chance to enter remotely. By the time we figure out where Lloyd is, it'll be too late to stop the Overlord from draining his Golden Power." The black-haired man responded, being more precise than with his previous words.
"And escaping the Digiverse?" Nya hopped in the conversation, chills crawling up her spine.
"Exactly." Cyrus confirmed, twisting his upper body to look at her. He then pointed the tool he had in his hands in our directions, designating each of us. "But if we digitize the Ninja and Techno Blades using my experimental technology—"
