Lisa is a senior in high school, and can not wait to be able to move out, but when the first semester grades come in and her mom gets multiple calls from teachers her life will change forever.
I told my friends the idea and they readily agreed. We quickly walked towards the corner store. I started throwing pacifiers, bottles, baby powder, wipes, thick diapers, plastic pants, changing table, stroller, restraints, and a crib with a locking top. My friend, Marcella, suggested doing breastfeeding for a skin on skin contact bond. I agreed and bought a breast pump in the cart. I thanked them, payed for everything, and then loaded it up in our car. At the last minute I realized, I forgot a car seat, so I ran back in and bought one. We said our goodbyes, and then I left. Finally I got home, and discovered my husband Andrew, applying babyish wallpaper to the walls. It as a pretty light pink, and it had castles, rainbows, and unicorns on it. It was supposed to be repainted, for her birthday, so it was good, that it was not her birthday yet.
Dad: Hey babe, did you get the supplies?
Mom: Yup! It was not that hard to. Shes going to be surprised! Speaking of which, I scheduled a doctor's appointment for myself.
Dad: Why? Is everything ok?
