Family: The meeting

Kevin walked beside Colt through the city of Etris. "I still think we should check out Minityrsa..."
Colt sighed. "You really think there's something still left there?... I mean... It might be a good idea if we're gonna check out those newly discovered islands..."
Kevin looked to the side. "If there's anything left of the Ministry... We've got to get rid of it."
Colt nodded. "Alright... But I can't. I've got a meeting with the Authority. The woman I've been talking to attacked our ships. That's why Cyrus got away. I still don't know why..."
"Just leave it to me. I'll check it out." Kevin replied.
"Thanks..." Colt said. "I'm lucky to still have you, dad..."
Kevin's look softened, he still found that heartwarming.

Falco appeared in Cyrus' office. "Today, 4 hours from now, at the Penumbra isles, the small island closest to Minityrsa."
Cyrus looked at him. "What's... Gonna happen there?"
Falco glared back at Cyrus. "Do you trust me?"
Cyrus thought for a moment before answering with a reassuring smile. "Yeah."
"Then go there. You'll find out soon enough." Falco replied.

Faust walked around with Pakki, trying to find Seth.
Pakki scanned the area. "He's at the training grounds."
Faust started walking. "How do you know which one is his?"
"....His is brighter than all the others I've seen." Pakki replied.
Seth had barely been let out of the hospital, but he was already training.
Faust looked at Seth. "Yo... Aren't you gonna overwhelm yourself?"
Seth stopped the push-ups, standing up. "I want to be ready for whatever comes... I could barely protect you two back there! What if it happens again?!"
Faust tried to speak, but the usually quiet Pakki spoke up.
"It won't."
Seth looked at him. "Huh? How do you know that?"
Pakki narrowed his eyes. "I... Also got stronger."

After Colt finished some leftover business in Etris, he embarked on a ship, going to the specified island.
On the way, Faust, Pakki and Seth were discovered hiding on the ship.
"You-- damn it! Colt! The kids got on! I'll get another boat and bring them ba--" a soldier yelled out.
"No." Colt said, looking towards the island. "I... Trust them."
Faust smiled, while Pakki and Seth's eyes lit up.
Colt stayed silent for a moment before turning around and dropping to one knee to get down to their level. "I want you three to remain calm. But if a fight breaks out..."
Seth sighed. "Stay back and call for help, I know..."
Pakki crossed his arms. "We've got experience! If it comes down to it, I'll show them true art!"
Colt closed his eyes as he looked at them. "....I want you to keep one thing in mind. If you have to, fight. Fight, even if you can't anymore. Okay?" He said as he opened his eyes again.
Seth stayed silent, not knowing what to say.
Faust nodded, clear overconfidence visible in his eyes. "I'll show them who they're messing with." But to Colt, this overconfidence was familiar and charming, he knew to trust the Etrean.
Pakki smiled, clear determination visible in his one red eye, to anyone looking at him from the outside. "I got it... Fight... Fight, even if I can't anymore." But to Colt, even his dark eye showed his will.
Colt smiled, getting back up and turning around, wiping a single tear from his eye as only one thought crossed his mind. "You'd all be so proud..."

Colt was the first one to set foot on the tiny island. "Hi, Jane..."
Right after, the Authority captain stepped onto the island as well. "...Hello, Colt..." She said as she clutched an amulet in her neck. Thousands of thoughts ran through her mind, and it was obvious to everyone even from the outside.
Colt looked at her for a moment before starting the conversation. "I'm not here to hurt anybody. In fact, I want to resolve this peacefully. That's why I want to know, why did you attack my men?"
Jane looked back, but before she could answer another ship arrived.

Cyrus looked down at them. "Sorry to interrupt... I uh... ....Could I see Seth?..." He was just making an excuse - He didn't know why he was here, Falco sent him here.
Jane perked her head up when she heard her son's name. "You have Seth with you...?!"
Colt nodded. "Yes. I didn't plan on bringing him. In facttt, I didn't know I was bringing him for the majority of the way. But if you want to talk to him, I'll gladly let you. Nothing is gonna happen to you, you have my word."
Jane looked on, almost horrified, clearly she didn't know how to respond.
Cyrus spoke up. "I can testify. I've visited Seth in Etris before... He's telling the truth. Feel free to talk to him, Colt's a good man."
Jane looked at Cyrus. "N-No, that's not the..."
Colt looked between the two. He was suspicious of Cyrus, but didn't say anything. He wasn't going to act unless he was sure Cyrus was going to do anything.

The moment of silence was broken by Pakki's yell, coming from inside the ship.
Faust sent a bone hand towards the assailant, who was Falco, but Falco moved too fast, going back through a shadow and disappearing.
Colt looked through a window on the ship. "Pakki! Are you okay?! What happened?!"
Pakki looked out. "Someone- cut into my wrist..."
Faust quickly started patching it up for him.
The shadow reappeared in the middle of the island.
Colt, Cyrus and Jane all turned towards it.
Out of the shadow walked Falco, a necklace with a blood-stained, half-red, half-black gem on it. "Betray me if you'd like Jane... You've helped me just enough!"

Cyrus looked at Jane. "What the hell's he talking about?!"
Colt looked at Falco. "Even after all these years, you can't leave us alone... You always were a dirty assassin like that..."
Cyrus looked back at Falco. "That blood... You better not have hurt a kid...!"
The necklace began to slowly float up from Falco's chest. "Let me rephrase it... It doesn't matter to me what you do now, Jane... You can betray me and feel good... Or you can ensure you and Seth have a safe place in the new world!"
Jane ripped the amulet off of her neck, throwing it at Falco. "SOMEBODY STOP HIM!"

As Kevin was investigating Minityrsa, he glanced towards the cluster of islands. "Holy shit..."
He said as he saw a massive circular wave of water rise, spinning rapidly.
It rose higher and higher up into the sky before slamming down on an island - the one Colt, Cyrus and everyone else was on.
The water swallowed the island, going down underwater in seconds and forming a massive whirlpool.
